I friend of mine who used to live in Chiang Mai recomended this place to me. It is a very quaint place only 4 rooms for a good price, 1050 baht. It has aircon, wifi and good hot showers. It is in a great location for walking around Chiang Mai. The owner is a young architect who lives in Bangkok.... more

I think this boutique hotel is great - exclusive, personal, hospitable and value for money. I love everything there, from the design (a daughter's work specially for her retired dad), the host Sooop (sorry didn't know how to spell it), the lovely little charismatic doggie to those lovely white flowers laying on dew-moistened lawn... This is a small place - only 4 rooms. Price is around 1000 Thb, which is more than many places but fairly reasonable. We took a minibus from the train station after an overnight train from Bangkok. The driver had trouble finding it, but we got there eventually. The owner didn't say much to us - maybe he was happy... more
