Many people seem to go here just for lunch, as you can sit at a table in the middle of the shallow stream that runs alongside the hotel while waiters with their pants rolled up to their knees deliver food and beers. That's pleasant, and the atmosphere on a whole is pleasant there. The location is right at the mouth... More

We booked this place after looking for places in Chiang Mai with a pool...BE WARNED...this hotel is not at the location that Tripadvisor shows and also the pool has been completely drained! Our room was the one shown in photos with the glass roof...which is very cool and will certainly be memorable. However there were bugs and a lizard that... More

We stayed 2 years ago at this resort & had to come back ( as it is rare for us stay the same hotel twice ) this time round & never been happier, hotel is under new management ( was called Fondcome resort ), but the food in the hotel is definite the reason bring us back - the high... More

This hotel is quirky, and it will grow on you. The place is clean and tidy and the food is good. The room was nice and we were comfortable. This hotel's most important asset is its staff, who are simply lovely! It may be a little tricky to communicate at times, however they are very accomodating and will go out... More

This resort seems to have a few years under its belt and would definitely be better if they cleaned it up a bit..just some maintenance and a fresh coat of paint..after saying that these things might actually dent the amazing sence of character. I definitely recommend asking reception if you can look at different rooms if they are available as... More

I originally planned to stay here for one night, but loved it that much I stayed for two. This place is located in the countryside with mountains all around, there is a restaurant seating area right next to a small river, I did a bit of fishing, one of the staff was kind enough to dig some worms for me!... We landed at Chaing Mai Airport on Feb 18th 2013 (First Day of our Honeymoon). We were picked up more or less on time by the Hotel staff and were transferred to the Resort. It is 150 Baht/ Person. My wife had researched and had booked this wonderful Resort which I was sceptical of till the time I actually saw... More

Rooms really are something else, all unique and fantastic attention to detail. The grounds are beautiful but pool does look like a dirty pond so that let's it down. The reception staff were very helpful and very pleasant. The main thing that let our stay down was the location - around 400baht one way into town, and when returning cabs/tuktuks... More

Before embarking on a bigger tour through the Thai mountains, we stayed here for a few days to get over our jetlag. We both loved the unique and tastefully designed rooms inspired by folks tales. Several of the staff members were refugees from Myanmar who the owner gave a job and and support. Everyone, without exception, was super-nice, warm and... More
