Was staying here for 6 nights, Had a room on the ground floor, AC and Shower good functioning. Bed noisy. Small balcony without a view, good enough for smoking and drying clothes,. Staff and boss very helpfully Very close to a lot of small but good restaurants. I would stay there again

The place was cheaper than most hotels in Chiang Mai, but we also stayed at a much nicer place for only about $10 more. The blankets had holes and questionable stains, and the bathroom wasn't all that clean (other people's hair). On another note, when we arrived, we were told that because of an error on the part of Travelocity,... More

More like a traditional hotel than a other places in Old Town we found Viraporn's Place to be a welcome respite. Rooms are clean, have refrigerators, and are well insulated. Bed wasn't too bad for a Thai bed, if you haven't been yet you will find out that Thai beds are notoriously hard. Hot shower. Some minor issues we had... More

As is the case with others here on Tripadvisor, we stayed here when it was CM Blue house, and we loved it. The hotel has changed however, and not for the better. I should judge the hotel on its own merits and not compare, but my wife and I couldn't help but notice that it has lost its warmth and... More

We stayed at Viraporn's Place after originally wanting to stay at a different hotel which had bedbugs. The owner, Paul, was really friendly in showing us to our room and making us feel comfortable, after being a little stressed due to the bedbugs. We stayed in a fan room for the first night, however found that this was way to... More

Decent location.....very close to Wat Chiang Man. The hotel took quite a long time to get to considering Chiang Mai's narrow streets. The rooms were nice. Very small yet comfortable. The bathroom is a bit too small but manageable. The owners are very helpful and organised a few excursions for us. Breakfast is large with aqequate choices. WiFi is also... More

Best place to stay in Chiang Mai. I've here 4 years ago, when it had different owners and was still called Blue House. Viraporn did a great job on the renovation and she's probably one of the nicest and warmest people living in Chiang Mai. Location wise it's a no brainer, located in the old city near the food market... More

The lady who runs the hostel is lovely and so helpful. Our room was quite big and had a balcony. The bathroom was quite old and run down but only to be expected in budget hostels. Positioned very well, only a short walk to many of the main attractions. Highly recommended

Viraporn, the owner, welcomed me with a nice smile. Due to low season, i was lucky to be ofered a regular room with free breakfast instead of the large room i had originally booked with no breakfast. I have to say that the regular room is big enough so the deal wzs perfect. AC worked well and i had z... More

Room was clean and the staff was friendly. I enjoyed my stay here. My favorite part was the location. As a solo backpacker, I really enjoyed how this place was located at a street with multiple hostels, a food market, hippy-style stores and nice food restaurants.
