We stayed here for 5 nights after finding a rep at the train station. On a nice quiet street, few mins from city walls, and few more mins from night bazaar- great location. Rooms are very reasonably priced and clean. Overall, food in restaurant was yummy and prices in line with town. Would recommend green curry fried rice. For one... More

This place is in a prime location. (Close to night bazaar, Sunday market and bars) The staff was fairly friendly and the room was fairly nice, nothing spectacular but the price was fair. The pool is nice too. Would recommend this place for sure

I have no idea why the bad reviews...we had a wonderful experience. Comfortable clean big rooms, showers that work so well. Best location and pool. Staff so nice to my children. And always willing to help. Will certainly be back!

The hotel is well located and convenient but the staff will only treat you nicely if you book a tour with them. We didn't do it and we even had to ask them to clean our room in the evening when we were back to the hotel. The feeling of being chased is not nice either! They will charge you... More

PLEASE read this true story if you have plans on coming to this HORRID place. ARC apparently does business with this place with many tourists. Take the 2 min to read my TERRIBLE experience. Upon arrival the staff in the lobby seemed stressed and uninviting. After being in Tland for 3 weeks this was quite the change. The lady sat... More

We stayed at this Hotel basically a 4 star for about $22 Canadian per night. Clean rooms, restaurant, pool, good housekeeping, car with driver for rent. Also they arranged tours at great prices for us. Very friendly safe place to stay, close to everything. We landed in Bangkok and stayed overnight then took the overnight train to Changmai, stayed one... More

Even if the rooms are correct for the price, this place or rather the owner might be out of order. They accost you at the train station with attractive photos and attractive prices. Arrived at the hotel, you sign a long list of forbidden rules : no food and no friends in rooms, if the hand towels are dirty you... More

The day before our check-in we stopped by the Chiang Mai Thai House to ask what time we could check-in the following day. The man replied that check-in was at 10 in the morning. The next day we arrived at 10 and were ushered directly to the tour booking area and were inundated with tour pushing. After we were clear... More

Got free transport from the train station. Paid 400baht for double room. Great walking location to walking street, temples, night market etc. they do try and push trips on you obviously on some sort of commission but we wanted to go on one anyway and it was a good price and a fantastic day. Food in restaurant is very nice... More

Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights. No complaints, we felt like the staff went out of their way to help us (generally shocked by the reviews I've just read!) I left my trainers at the elephant park we went to and the staff at the hotel arranged with the tour guide to have them brought back to... More
