Its a clean hotel, Nice staff, great location, the swimmingpool is excellent. The Pick-up from the train station is great. Its a bargain and you get what you Pay for plus a swimmingpool. We really enjoyed our stay here. The only downside, they really want you to book a tour/trek throug them.

Ok it ain't the ritz but what do you expect at that price. The rooms are basic but clean and you have everything you need. The staff are friendly especially JJ who was extremely helpful. The pool area is great too. The location is ideal. A very quiet little side street and just a short walk from the old town.... More

I haven't even stayed in this hotel but still had a terrible experience. The staff were so rude, particularly the manager with black hair. He was trying to charge us full price for a room even though the pool was closed. When we tried to explain to him that there was 4 people staying for 3 nights so could he... More

It's old, built in the 60's or before. Rooms are clean and adequate. Don't expect a shower curtain, there is no need for one. Watch your toes, there are many levels, it's just how Thai's construct buildings. The price is great, less than $30 a night. Their food is excellent and reasonable. The location is fantastic! You are a stone's... More

They are nice and friendly when you get there, but as soon as you tell them you don't want to book an excursion or trip with them, they get mad and really realy unfriendly! The rooms look fine on first sight, but lack a lot of small, annoying things. For example: no shower curtain, no possibility to hang the shower... More

We arrived in CM with nowhere to stay, one of the hotel staff was at the train station and offered us a good price, he said he'd drive us there, show us the room and if we didn't like it then we got a free lift into the city. The hotel was everything he said it would be, nice clean... More

Rooms were decent, decent price, decent food. However, they really push on the tours they offer, and customer service sucks. The second we got there they sat us down and asked us what tours we wanted to do. We said we didn't want to do the trekking or tiger temple and then they said oh you don't like tigers or... More

Althought the young lady at the front desk is really nice and smiling, the rest of the staff becomes mean and rude when you dont book a trip with them. Expecially the boss, JJ. The place is fine for the price u pay but I do not like to stay in a place where I feel unconfortable. The trips are... More

I stayed in Chiang Mai Thai House for eight nights, including the nights during the annual Songkran festival in April. I stayed with one other person in a fairly spacious fan room, which has a nice bathroom and hot water. The large window was east-facing and there were no trees shading the building, which made for some hot nights until... More
