We stayed here for 10 nights during our honeymoon and couldn't be happier with our choice. My wife and I have stayed at so many 5 star hotels and even 7 star in Dubai but have never received such a personal and pleasant service as we did at Fern Paradise. The setting was perfect, very, very beautiful. Service as I... more

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. Ten immaculately restored rice barns are set among a lush jungle surrounding. Dr.Niwat, the architect/owner of the hotel, positioned the barns in such a way that he didn't have to remove a single tree. As a result, you feel as though you're in the middle of a forest.... more

I travel extensively throughout Asia and have never felt compelled to write a review about the hotels I stay at. Most are 4/5 star rated with modern facilites yet lack personality and fail to go that step further to make a stay memorable. This place is different. My family and I were made to feel welcome and valued from the... more

I had the pleasure of staying here in September 2008. The decision to stay here was based solely on the TripAdvisor reviews and I wasn't disappointed! This place is absolutely beautiful. Your hotel room is your very own rice-barn set amongst a literal fern paradise. It is run by a most lovely and welcoming family who do everything within their... more

We stayed here for 4 days during our honeymoon and it wasn't enough! We loved the tropical setting with loads of beautiful ferns and well maintained gardens. The attention to detail in the cottages as well as the gardens makes fern paradise a real gem. Fern Paradise is a short cab ride to the city, it costs a little more... more

Fern Paradise is a wonderful family run boutique hotel. We could only fully appreciate the immaculate garden and grounds after we took the fern tour with the owner. It is a "must do" if you stay at this hotel. The whole place is very well thought out and blends perfectly with nature. The "Fern Family" could not be nicer and... more

Words cannot describe what an incredible experience my wife and I had at Fern Paradise. Not having any time to plan our honeymoon or any activities, the two of us literally came straight from our wedding to Chiang Mai without having a clue of what to do, where to stay, or where to go. My wife found Fern Paradise through... more

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and loved it! Although it is about a15 minute drive outside of central Chiang Mai, the extra money paid for the taxi was well worth it. Fern Paradise was green and clean and a beautiful oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Om and his family were always... more

The grounds are immersive, the accommodations adequate and extremely unique. The hidden gem here is the absolutely lovely family that owns and operates this property. We were there on our honeymoon, and Chiang Mai was absolutely great after Bangkok. When we had some issues with our departure due to the coup, the owners really really really went above and beyond... more

We stayed there two nights and found the grounds breathtaking, the staff incredibly friendly, and the experience of staying in a converted rice barn a unique memory. Om, the owners son, was extremely helpful and friendly and helped us plan our attractions in Chiang Mai. Staying here is more than staying in a hotel, it was a unique experience and... more
