I stayed here in February 2012, and it was a great place to stay. The hotel was clean, neat and comfortable. The rooms were well appointed, and I found it to be quiet. Breakfast in the morning was great! The hotel is in walking distance to the night bazaar and the old city, so it is very convenient. Hotel staff... More

Stayed there 3 night. Hotel is at walking distance of Night bazaar en Old city. People at front desk were verry helpfull. Breakfast was good, especially the fresh fruit every morning. My wife and I like to eat fresh fruit everyday. So ee requested for some sweet local fruits and it was all done. Every morning there was a suprise... More

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Chiang Mai! It's clean, provides breakfast, as well as free wifi in the room. We arrived before check in time and they were very accommodating and gave us our room early! When we go back we will definitely stay here again!

The hotel looks contemporary but the rooms need more TLC , we didn't have a smoke detector in our room. Breakfast was basic and can be improved significantly, cerials, yogurt and fruit etc It is family run but needs to improve its presentation.

I stayed here for 2 nights in a large room with King sized bed at about £26 a night. It has a good location once you figure out where it is in relation to the main road. Incidentally I managed to negotiate a red taxi (is a jeep with seats) to the hotel for 80bht and avoided paying the airport... More

Owner should get 2 thumbs up. Very nice lady, very helpful. Rooms are cosy but upkeep isn't the cleanest. Breakfast is basic but pretty yum. Only thing is lots of tuk tuk never heard of this hotel so grab a name card from reception to show to them.

One night here before our loop. Worth the money. Dont expect too much spirit of chiang mai from the hotel, but clean, there is wifi, hot water and poor breakfast. The owner is so lovely and helpfull. she organizes laundry, taxi, everything. There is no elevator but if you ask they give a hand. Overall i recommend the place for... More

Pros: Portico 21 is blocks away from the Sunday walking market, night bazzar and good resturants. A really great location. Friendly ladies on staff. Cons: Greasy egg breakfast, stained and worn (with holes) towels and sheets, 4 stories no elevator, not so friendly guy on staff.

Pros: This hotel is on a quiet and small side-soi, but is otherwise in a very good location. The rooms are on the small side, but clean and attractive. The bed was "asian firm" but acceptable. The TV had quite a few channels. Some of the staff were nice. Cons: When we checked in the clerk took off up the... More

We spent four night in this hotel. The location is FANTASTIC, as you are withing walking distance from markets, attractions and great restaurants. The ladies that run this place are very helpful and friendly, but the guy that works in the afternoon is a sour faced little something. There could be some things improved, like repainting the stairs and some... More
