Rooms are big enough, have big beds and some other furniture. Have also hot shower and balcony. Every year we come again and allways stay in fen room. We feel here almost like at home. It's worth it's money.

The choice of this guesthouse is the best we could have made, me and my friends felt very comfortable and welcome here. The french ex patriot owner and the staff is very friendly, always helpful and speak very good English, located in a central yet quiet side road, the garden that comes with is a perfect retreat from the heat... Early in the morning we paid for the next day but half an hour later we changed our minds and decided to do a trip out of town. It was well before the check out time. We told the owner she could keep the money and apply it to our first night upon our return to Chiang Mai. She agreed... More

Very basic indeed, but I'm not too fancy myself. It's a great location. Prices used to be great at 350 baht, but heard they recently increased the price. The rooms are super basic. Staff has been nice every time I stayed there (3 times by now). Once we asked if they had any room with TV, they didn't, but instead... More

Rooms were of a decent standard for the price, they had air con and were quite clean. After a few days I asked for the bins to be emptied, more toilet roll and clean towels, which never happened despite asking on two separate occasions. I ended up putting our room bins outside myself, which took over a day for them... More

I like the sympathetic managers Bertil and Lek, and the two resident poochees, and the location is excellent. Also nice that there is a fridge with water and beer that operates on honesty system. Some of the rooms are starting to wear down, a slight renovation would be a good idea.

This was my third time staying at this guesthouse and while it still has the same homey feel I ended up switching places after a week. The staff were wonderful and friendly which I LOVED! Though my room was old and the air conditioning had controls that were outdated and not adjustable. The bathroom was old which would have been... More

The room and location are good.We however had some problems as they just rented the room for the next day although they confirmed the day before twice (!) that everything is ok and we can stay 3 days.We are aware that there can be misunderstandings but the way this was handled was not nice.As there are similiar rooms that are... Situated near to Tha Pae Gate, close to shops and temples as well as restaurants. The restaurant/chill area is very comfortable and the breakfast was very nice too. The room was pretty average, with two single beds that were squeaky and our aircon made a lot of noise. There is also no view from the balcony. The staff are very... More

I have stayed here in 2003 and 2007 and love the homey feel! The staff are friendly, rooms are modest but clean. Cost was affordable and close to the Sunday market and a quick tuk tuk from the night market. Near the Tapae Gate as well. I have just booked with them again for my next trip to Thailand in... More
