Noticed some previous negative posts and inquired about them at check-in. The General Manager, Mr. Samarn Tipibang answered my questions in a friendly and professional manner. He also assured me that he was not the owner but the proprietor for the real owners, The Royal Thai Army. I felt 100% secure at that point and throughout my visit. Breakfast was... more

The hotel is very nice as was the staff. We found the communications a bit strained due to language problems as the staff do not speak English very good. This is the only language that can be used other than Thai. The rooms are quite comfortable but the furniture was something else. The beds have sharp corners and if you... more

We had booked for 3 nights but became ill after using the swimming pool. Looked clean until you disturbed everything lurking on the bottom, and they use green tiles to hide the colour of the water. We asked when it had been cleaned and showed the reception staff the bugs that were happily living in the water. This led to... more

We stayed at the Green Lake Resort for 5 nights in early January. Mr Tipibang and his staff should be very proud of the service they offer there. Our room was a lake view room, which meant we had a view of the pool area from our private balcony and a lake view from our front door. The resort is... more

This was my seccond stay at Green Lake Resort. First time was a year ago, and I liked it so much that I decided to stay there again. The location is perfect for a relaxing stay outside the city. The reception area and the restaurant has no walls, so it was quite chilly for the staff in the morning hours.... more

Green Lake Resort is quite new hotel. The rooms are clean and very beautiful. I like this hotel because the lakeview is large and beautiful. It's quiet time good for relax. The hotel isn't far away from the city. They have busservice 3 times every day. I can go and back to the city easily. Receptionists are friendly and helpful.... more

A new and beautiful hotel no doubt. However, it will cost to 250baht to get to town. Staff does not understand English. No adapter, no toothbrush... That is why the room is so cheap. more

It is a very nice hotel. It is brand new, so the rooms are nice and clean. The entire resort is situated next to a lake, which is pretty beautiful. The location is a bit problematic - around 10 to 15 minutes from the city (100 to 150 BHT by taxi). We paid 43$ per night in the high season... more

Nice resort but far from town (20mn drive, 150 baht one way) nothing outside the hotel except a golf field. The hotel restaurant is good and reasonably priced, no bar, no cafe. Recent construction, clean suite (separate linving room) with big balcony. Only thai channels on TV. No buffet breakfast during low season, they serve a basic american (eggs bacon... more
