I went somewhere else before here for a week and after day 1 chose to book somewhere else. For just a few dollars more I found this gem. It was such a relief to have a room that actually had some decor! Fridge, plenty of storage and nice lighting. I was so happy! And, to top it off, the bed... More

Very nice room in a great corner of the old town. There is everything you need within walking distance, like bars, restaurants, cafes, 7/11, travel agents, laundry, and massage. Tri Gong is very busy and you must book ahead. We arrived at 8am after the overnight train from Bangkok, but could not check in until 1pm. We had booked two... More

We stayed six nights a the Tri Gong. We had requested a room on the bottom floor as my wife has problem climbing stairs. When we arrived the room was ready. The room was cozy and had a refrigerator where we could store our fruit and use the kitchen to prepare the fruit for breakfast. The eating area was a... More

We stayed at Tri Gong for 11 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were really helpful, especially Adam and Duey. We were able to get really good sleep every night. It's in a quiet space. The rooms are clean. The shower pressue isn't great but it'll do. Cost of the rooms was very reasonable. our room was cleaned... More

Our room was very quiet, fair sized with a very comfortable bed, wardrobe, desk, refrigerator, tables and chair (wooden Lanna style furniture). The air conditioner was quiet, the fridge worked well and there was adequate hot water. There is a large window and good lighting for reading. Rooms are very clean, and cleaned daily. Free water, and toiletries are provided.... More

Stayed there for 3 nights while on a long trip across Asia. The rooms were average, basic cleanliness. No room wifi, only at the lobby. Free coffee at the lobby, no breakfast provided, but quite a few restaurants nearby. Strange towels in this place made out of blanket material clinging to your body not really drying you out. Good, quiet... More

I ended up staying at this place because of an issue with a reservation next door. All in all I was happy it happened. Tri Gong was great value, had cold ac, free wifi, friendly staff that let me store some items for a while while traveling outside of the city and was clean. Everything you need, not much you... Located just inside the moat of the old city, this guesthouse is clean, quiet, has good WiFi and pleasant English speaking staff. There is no restaurant on site for breakfast but there are an abundance of them in a moments walk.

Room lovely and clean. Fridge with free bottled drinking water. Air con good and not loud. No noise from outside, even on ground floor. Very kind father and son on desk. They ordered a taxi to the airport for us. Situated in a nice area with plenty of restaurants. Ten minute walk to the night market.

The place is as advertised, quite backpack style, very simple but not noisy. It's a good base for exploring Chang Mai and surrounding areas. The owner was helpful, tried to help when needed. Internet working great in the room. Although it was clean, they should do a better job in maintenance because there was some rust in the bathroom facilities.... More
