Room lovely and clean. Fridge with free bottled drinking water. Air con good and not loud. No noise from outside, even on ground floor. Very kind father and son on desk. They ordered a taxi to the airport for us. Situated in a nice area with plenty of restaurants. Ten minute walk to the night market.

The place is as advertised, quite backpack style, very simple but not noisy. It's a good base for exploring Chang Mai and surrounding areas. The owner was helpful, tried to help when needed. Internet working great in the room. Although it was clean, they should do a better job in maintenance because there was some rust in the bathroom facilities.... More

choose this after reading reviews on tripadvisor. arrived and both father and son (family business) were present and friendly. english good. explained that they sold tourist trips, gave us information on markets, restuarants. checked into 2 rooms. Rooms very basic. I can do basic if clean. This hotel cleans the inside of rooms but not the perimeter. Also whilst staying... More

Rooms are a bit old fashioned but you can't argue with the cost and the location. Perfect for exploring on foot and locally there are lots of little restaurants and bars to explore. WiFi was pretty good too.

We absolutely enjoyed staying at Tri Gong Residence! We were welcomed and showed to our rooms that had air conditioning and refrigerator. The rooms are very clean and cleaned everyday or upon request. Refrigerator is always stocked with complimentary water, chilled for that hot afternoons. Coffee and hot water is always available at the front desk. There is an atrium... More

Tri Gong is unpretentious, and has everything you need. I stayed for a week in February this year, and was very comfortable. The rooms are adequately furnished, with air con, fridge and a balcony. My room had a fan and hairdryer, but my friend's didn't have these inclusions. Perhaps ask if you need them. Breakfast is not provided, but there... More

We stayed at TriGong for 2 weeks in Jan/Feb this year. We had upstairs rooms at the back (a friend joined us for a week) & noise was never an issue. The rooms had a small, enclosed rear balcony - good for drying washing. The a/c worked well, the large fridge was useful & the rooms are adequate for space... More

TriGong's friendly and helpful owner makes this guesthouse a step above most others. I've stayed here many times over the past 5 years. The free computers with internet in the lobby are an asset. Location can't be beat. My room was closer to the road than in the past and was noisier....a combination of occasional motorbike noise and the owner's... More

I have stayed here a few times but this time shown the door. I stayed a week was going to stay longer but told problem with room. Problem? Well their family are nice, but told someone else now has it? Maybe I complained? But politely always! I know Thai, love them. This time a big wash for us! No more... More

Centrally located, easy going, very helpful generous family owners, clean, quiet. The rooms are not so big but large enough. Free tea, coffee, water. Security key provided so safe. Rooms at the back overlooking the courtyard are more quiet as the owner's house shields them from the street noise. Good value and recommended.
