We were only staying 1 night at first but decided to spend 3 in the end. Good clean room, a/c, hot water and shower. Pool is nice, close enough to the main town and the staff were helpful. Done the job for us as we are travelling and for the price!!!

Stumbled across this character filled hotel by accident and really liked it ! The room was big and clean with aircon , the four poster bed was big and very comfortable . The bathroom was fine . The water in the pool had a green tinge to it but we swam and it was ok . All the staff were... More

Old musty dark dank rooms to match the bizarre foyer. The pool full of green slim and stank. Over priced for what you get. Old musty bedding with horrid blankets, rock hard pillows and noisy air conditioning. The walls were damp n crumbling the ceiling was falling in and bits were falling off. No supplies or jug/kettle to make tea... More

rooms are old and probably need updating but for $20aud a night, I have no complaints, we had hot water, air con, fridge, room serviced daily and a pool which was generally unoccupied, a short 15 minute walk to china town and or the chiang mai markets, felt close to the action without the noise

When we first got to this hotel, we didn't like it as it seem old and worn, but we soon grew to appreciate the unique nostalgic feel that this place zoomed. This hotel definitely can do with a big overhaul and updating. We stay for 4 nights, our room were spacious and quiet, even though the furnishing is dated, it... More

This hotel was recommended to us as being very reasonable, we were told it was a typical Thai style hotel, very basic, had air-conditioning and a pool. Apparently it was built around the time of the Vietnam war in the '60's, obviously no updating has been done since that time. To see the bedside lamp with the plastic still on... More

The staff we're helpfull and friendly. The room had everything you needed ( fridge, water, aircon and safe) and were cleaned well! The hotel was dated but sort of added to the charm of the place. Food wasn't great and pool could do with cleaning. But overall an enjoyable stay.

Lovely hotel, staff are willing to help. Lovely pool area but not always able to swim. Reasonably priced food (but not great)and drink. Location is pretty good for night markets, chinatown and lovely out-of-the-way restaurants if you are happy to explore the back roads.

Nice clean hotel with very friendly staff. It is easy to slip into a relaxed daily route at the prince. It is within walking distance to markets and restaurants. The only downfall is their constant struggle with the pool.

For the price paid this was a good hotel. The room was adequate and clean, the foyer is large and cool and furnished with lots of interesting olde worlde style furniture and comfy seating. The breakfast was a fairly standard hotel buffet breakfast. OK, but nothing to write home about! The coffee is good though! Once you get your bearings... More
