Old classy hotel, back in the day it would have been a good hotel. But now it Just need some renovation. Staff very friendly, helped us out, by finding a tour. The the cleaningladies very friendly, but would like them not to knock on the door at 8.30 a.m. Found out later that we had a visitor in the bathroom,... More

Nice old hotel, rough around the edges, but now its being renovated so will be better soon. Got a very nice pool, and i think location is very good, between the moat and nawarat bridge. People are friendly here although their english is very basic. Beds are comfortable, but the rest of the furniture is rather worn. But for the... More

Over the years I have staid here quite a few times, the people at the desk treat me like an old friend, which is always nice. The rooms are very big and if you stay on the top floor you can have quite a nice view of the old city. The dining room seems to be rented out to someone... More

I keep coming back to this hotel because it's got such a classic vibe.. filled with antiques, grand old colonial ambiance lobby, massive hallways with high ceilings and grand staircases. It feels like you're in an Asian version of The Shining. The staff is very friendly and helpful an the owner is very hands-on. He's always walking around checking on... More

I have been traveling to Chiang Mai since 1994, and have been staying at the price ever since. The staff are very friendly, and the location is good. The surrounding neighborhood is quite with lots of good inexpressive restaurants. The building is not quite as spiffy as it once was but the rooms are always clean and quite. Best part... More

Ok strange one this and where to start. On arriving to the hotel we where sent to our room, which was absolutely filthy and not even made up,complained and was "upgraded" to superior. A little better but acceptable. Good location, excellent pool. However the hotel needs to inform potential clients that this is a building site. Floors 1 to 3... More

This place was only ok. My boyfriend and I stayed in January 2015. On first going to the room, the air conditioning was not working, the sheets were dirty (obvious boot prints) and the shower drain was partially blocked. We went and talked to reception about this and they moved us to a different room with little fuss. The sheets... More

I always stay at the Prince when in Chiang Mai and have never been let down. The last trip was no exception, great value at 450 baht per night for 13 day stay. The restaurant is closed now but free coffee/tea available in lobby. Pool side bar adjoining hotel offers food and drink and rooms for 220 baht - popular... More
