Upon arrival to the Hotel my first impression was i wished i lived here, the way it was set out made it a perfect place to stay..... I booked a Junior Suite upstairs which had it own private entrance and table and chairs out front over looking the bar and pool, the room was well appointed and the shower i... More

We stayed in this hotel for three nights with our two daughters (15 years of age) in August 2014 while enjoying our vacation in Thailand. The hotel is located just outside the centre of Chiang Mai. We booked two separate luxury rooms. The rooms are rather small, cramped even, room for storing your suitcases is very limited. In addtion, they... More

I spent a couple night and had a very good time here. The room was nice and clean. Their staff are so nice and friendly. The location is in a strategic area like shopping area, old temples, and some hi-light landmark. Moreover, there are local buses around. Recommend !!

booked into the hotel as part of an Airasia package and had no disillusions that it was the Palace. Checked into 411 and requested to be shifted the next morning. The a/c and fridge in the room were noisy enough (but can be tolerated) but on the wall outside was a generator for the whole wing and the pool pumps.... More

Having already spent 2 weeks traveling around Thailand we were really looking forward to staying at another "Boutique" hotel in Chiang Mai, how wrong we were. First impressions were good a nice swimming pool and reception area but once we saw our room hopes began to fad very quickly The room(411) was so crammed with cheap reproduction "antique" furniture the... Village is exactly the right word for Manathai – it had the ambience and feel of a small village. Haven would be the second right word. I love Chiang Mai, but at the end of a day’s exploration it was wonderful to return to the peace and tranquillity offered by Manathai. My room was a delight with a very comfortable... More

Stayed here for a few nights at the beginning of May 2014, it's a really relaxing place. We really liked the style of this hotel, it is designed as a small village with lots of character. The pool is small, but was perfect for relaxing around. There are not many sun loungers, one day we had to use the chairs... More

hotel is built like a small village, all in wood, very cosy. rooms surround a tranquil pool. rooms are tastefully decorated in a classic thai style. only downside was that one evening there was no water available in our room (staff opened other room for us so we could shower). breakfast buffet could be a bit better. second time I... Just stayed at Manathai for the first two days of Songkran. Friendly staff, good rooms and a pool. Others have commented about mosqitos but this is a beautifully planted hotel. Birds and squirrels complement the Lanna style artifacts and furnishings. A few insects is a small price to pay. There are plenty of featureless concrete mega hotels in CM. Hotel... More

The Manathai Village is incredibly well located, just a five minute walk from city centre but far enough away to feel a level of escapism. The actual hotel is quite small, and everything is centrally located around the pool. The rooms are small and clean, but the mosquitos are a problem and we were not provided with any mosquito spray... More
