I will not say whether this place is good or bad - everything depends on what you are looking for and how high your demands are. So here are my remarks: 1. The place is cheap - accept everything that comes along with it. 2. The place is in Lonely Planet therefore expect a lot of people hanging around all... More

All staff very rude and not helpfull at all. We arrived, checked in and said that we wanted to stay 4 nights and they told us that maximum we could stay 2 nights and we would have to check the same departure day. . I was bitten by bed bugs..and at least we were in the 300 thb bedroom... completely... More

My boyfriend an me spent a couple of days at Julie's and were really happy about the good rates of the room we stayed in (upper floor, double bed with bathroom) and the food. It's nice to sit downstairs at Julie's, always somebody to talk to, food is good, drinks are not too expensive also. The only negative thing we... More

This is was one of the most fun hostels I stayed in during my trip through South-East Asia! The beds are nothing much, but the atmosphere is amazing and I met a lot of fun people. The restaurant is good value and when the kitchen closes at 9pm, it's 'serve yourself' out of the fridge and just write down how... More

Stayed there 3 days. That was 3 days too long. The staff is so so, not much effort to make sure it is going to be a pleasant stay. Had the feeling they count on trips booked with them, if not you are nobody. The atmosphere is like a pub full of alcoholics, loud and annoying. I mean, party a... More

I stayed for one regrettable night at Julie's Guesthouse in January 2010. I got a fan room with two twin beds on a an upper floor. The room was extremely small and dirty (including a big ball of dust and hair under my bed and a whole catalog on dead insects on the walls). The tiny bathroom was disgusting and... More

Julie's is a very cozy hostel with nice and clean rooms, a charming restaurant and inner court /garden full of hammock and comfy pillows. The restaurant is really good and the number of good travel tips you can get in the reception amazing -. the hostel also works as a travel agency. You cannot miss Julie's when in Chiang Mai,... Julie's gusthouse is a great place to stay for a couple of days when u are in Chiang Mai. This guesthouse has a very laidback easy atmosfere, good way to meet new people. The rates are quite low and ok, the rooms aren't very luxurious, but come on, u dó not want that when u are in Asia:) The food... More
