This is a fantastic little guesthouse and perfect for travellers on a budget. The staff are excellent and helped us out organising hiring a motorbike, our days trekking and many more things we asked about. Even helped us with the next part of our trip into laos!! We only booked 2 nights initially but stay for 5!! Plus there is... More

We had a great stay at Parami. The owner, Roger, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We had a double room with fan and en suite bathroom. The room was big and clean. The hostel has a lovely garden area where you can eat or swing in a hammock and a cute fish pond with stepping stones to... More

We had to leave our room in 30 minutes, because we didn't confirm our stay the night before. While at checkin we did say that we would most likely stay longer than the initial 2 booked nights, and the houserules on the door state that we had to confirm CHECKOUT the night before leaving. When we explained our frustration, the... More

The rooms are spacious, clean and they provide a decent wifi connection and a computer in reception. The receptionist gave great service and was always going out of her way to help, she arranged for our motorbike to be dropped off at the hostel which meant we could be on our way first thing. The hostel is not right in the... More

When we booked there was a bit of confusion about the rooms which resulted in me having to move rooms after my first night but this wasn't a problem at all and the facilities more than made up for the oversight. I had a air-con room which was brilliant, airy and open. The staff are all really friendly and they... More

The place is out of the city walls, around 15 minutes walking, but Chinatown is across the street if u are hungry and want to grab a bite. The rooms are spotless, the staff is helpful and friendly, especially the swiss owner. There is a nice relaxation area and the place is very beautifully arranged. Will definitely stay there again. This is the perfect location for the festival in Nov, because it is right along the river, but I think that anytime of year you can wake up and enjoy the market right across the river. The hosts helped us rent a motorbike, provided breakfast (you pay extra, reasonable prices), and helped us with our questions. The walls are thin,... More

We have stayed 5 nights in Parami Guesthouse. The staff helped us to organise the best tours in and around Chiang Mai. The owner, Roger, also helped to find the best markets, shops and restaurants in Chiang Mai. We had a great time there. We also had a two days trip when we had not slept in the hostel and... More

Parami was a great guest house experience. The prices were equivalent to or lower than what we paid elsewhere, although the location, condition and service were better. My one complaint was thin walls... can hear what's outside your room and it's certain that people can hear in. Well, second complaint was that the computer for public use was almost painfully... I just visited Parami guesthouse with my boyfriend during my stay in Chiang Mai, and especially considering the low price, was very pleasantly suprised. Our room was simple, but nice with a comfortable bed and a/c. The staff was so helpful with helping us plan out our day trips to flight of the gibbon and the Mahout elephant camp, and... More
