Second visit, first in 2012. Located on the Loi Kroh Road about 20-30 minutes by car from the airport, it's a 10 minute walk from the night bazaar and a 10 minute tuk tuk drive from the Saturday night market too. Also there's a Thai boxing stadium on the same street, tho the Thapae Stadium is real close in a... More

Although the staff were friendly and it is in a decent location.... to me, a hotel is where you pay a business to sleep there overnight. I couldn't sleep as the acoustic separation between rooms was so bad it was a joke, you can hear people using light switches and rustling around in bags. I have no idea how this... More

I am a well travelled 50 year old solo male traveler from Australia with a low to medium budget for this holiday and stayed in Chang Mai from 21st to the 25th of July 2014 at the one hotel. I found this hotel on Skyscanner.com and emailed them a few times from Australia inquiring about room pricing and availability which... More

The hotel is lovely to look at, well decorated and yes the staff are friendly. We visited the spa which was a pleasant experience; though certainly not the best we had in Thailand. However we suffered a really poor night's sleep the first night there. We were in a room with an adjoining door to the room next door and... More

Let's start with the good points: it's in a great location and has friendly, helpful staff. I like quirky and this hotel is a little quirky but I wasn't very comfortable here. It all felt rather tired and could do with freshening up. The safe didn't work when we arrived (no batteries) and there weren't any towels. There was a... More

Raming Lodge The good Location just off the moat outside the Old City. Near lots of places, of great variety, to eat and drink. Shopping and spa options abound. We had two rooms during our stay, both sold as Deluxe though the second was noticeably narrower than first. Rooms have TV with English channels, air con. Has an elevator. Both... More

The Raming lodge is located just on the edge of the old town of Chiang Mai and in and ideal place for seeing all parts of the city. The rooms are clean and spacious but breakfast is a little on the basic side.

This hotel has a different layout than most it is built in a U shape with the center open. The rooms are large with bathroom being large also. Things seem a bit antique and one of the windows in the shower had a gap from top to bottom. The room I was in had a metal roof outside the window... More

The rooms at Raming Lodge were big and spacious, the bed was huge and relatively comfortable. Air con worked just fine. I enjoyed the enormous shower and space in the bathroom. Just one small window so there was not a lot of natural light. The feel was a little dated but it was just fine. It was slightly noisy as... More

This hotel is in a good location for the night market, the rooms are very dark but clean and comfortable. There is cable TV/free wifi and breakfast is supplied (standard hotel breakfast). BUT ....I would not recommend this hotel if you want to sleep, people come and go at all hours and as most of the rooms face the courtyard... More
