I really enjoyed this hotel. Booked via Agoda (I highly recommend agoda, it nearly always has the cheapest rates). We arrived off the night train at 6am and the staff were friendly and very polite. More importantly, they let us check in without even needing to be asked. Shower heaven! Superior room and hotel were decorated in Lanna style, very... more

The Raming Lodge staff is extremely helpful. They remember your name and face immediately. The service was great - Free breakfast, in-room drinks, fresh fruit and pastries daily. Good location for night life too. Dinner in the restaurant was not too good. Breakfast was fine. Room was spacious with a good bathroom. more

I loved this hotel for many rasons. The staff are friendly helpful and profesional and bend over backwards to help you with any query. The location is great (there are a few seedy girly bars around but not like Bangkok) as it is a short walk to the go inside the walls of the old city and itis not far... more

Our group Aussies, seven of us stayed here for 4 nights. Wish we could have stayed longer. This hotel is really cute! We chose the royal suits which had two bedrooms and had an extra bed in the living room part. These suits were lovely and had HUGE baths! The rooms were large and very clean. Beds and pillows very... more

Spacious room, free in-room safe. Breakfast average. Our room was at the back, so nice and quiet. Didn't notice the beds being especially hard, as commented earlier. Great location, between Night Bazaar and Old City. Stayed in so many places in CM in the past and would definately use this again. Double Room £20 per night from Asiarooms.com more

This hotel could be ideal, fantastic location, clean, value for money, great staff! I have got only one complaint - the beds are so hard! We had to put our bed covers and everything else provided by the hotel over our mattress which may as well have been cement for the flexibility provided! It's a shame because this hotel has... more

My first trip to Chiang Mai. I researched for days before deciding on Raming Lodge. Welcome Drink at check in. Very potent drink but very tasty. Still not sure what kind of purpleish fruit drink it was. My room had an door opening to the beautiful court yard below. Room was non smoking. No probelms with mosquitos. They put some... more

The hotel staff took very good care of us during our 4-night stay. Our room was very spacious and clean and the shower was hot-beds were a little hard. The breakfast buffet was very good-western and Thai food-and sustained us thru our days of activities. We took full advantage of the travel/tour desk and had some wonderful adventures. The location... more
