Came here with our 9 year old daughter. Stayed in the one-bedroom with living room. The living room had a small day-bed that was perfect for our little girl. The room was spacious for three and beautifully decorated with dark woods and beds with canopies. Every aspect felt luxurious. The grounds are peaceful and full of nature sounds. Breakfast onl... Baan Orapin is a beautifully renovated Thai house set in lush gardens with very pleasant rooms. Each room has a small terrace and gives access to the gardens. The breakfast is commendable and the overall setting is a beautiful relief from the busy life in Chiang Mai.

We stayed here for 6 nights, it is a quiet place where you can relax. It has a small swimming pool but it's clean every day. The breakfast is good and prepared for you, choice out of 15 options on the menu. The price is a bit high but it's also close to the center. Takes you 5/10 minutes.

This bed and breakfast was to die for. It is right next to a rather busy street, but don't let that concern you. As soon as you get in the gate it is SO quiet and peaceful. Buildings are original and just gorgeous. Pool is small but cool and clean. Rooms and bathrooms were very nice, not to mention a... More

Very nice homemade breakfast. The location is next to ping river, where many restaurant and bars locate. Within 10mins walk, are there many cute boutique shops. The owner is nice and willing to give guests the recommendations. Transportation is also easy to be arranged for a day excursion. Will visit again in my next Chiang Mai trip.

I stayed in a Junior Suite in the rear building and it was large and most comfortable. The water was hot, the air conditioning worked well (and was quiet), the pool and gardens were great (and they kindly gave me a discount on the room rate as I booked a double room for single use). Being at the rear dramatically... More

My husband, 11 year old daughter and I spent 5 nights at Baan Orapin last week. This is a lovely little oasis from the busy streets of Chiang Mai. I agree with other reviewers - the rooms at the rear are lovely and quiet. Our daughter did not have a room of her own, but she had a perfectly reasonable... More

This place ticks all the boxes for us. Location is great, the gardens and grounds of the property are beautiful. The staff and management could not be more helpful obliging and friendly, Pepsi and Opas really go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and happy. We stayed in a Junior Suite for the second time (at the... More

We (2 adults/2 kids) stayed in the rear family suite. Kids had their own room and en suite with 2 twin beds. Adults had king size bed in room (also with an en suite) connected to common area. A/c located in each bedroom. Breakfast was wonderful. Coffee, hot chocolate, and fresh juice were drink options. Everyone would get a plate... More
