We spent 3 nights at Baan Orapin in a rear Junior Suite. The room was spacious and the air conditioner worked well and we had a balcony that overlooked the pool. If you are looking for somewhere in the thick of the action then this is not the place for you, but is the ideal place to relax after a... More

chiang mai is a wondeful place but it does get very noisy and this hotel is a great place to come back to after a long day out. it sits in amongst all the excitment but as soon as you enter the noise from the street is blocked out. its close to everything and the rooms are very authentic and... This place is an oasis, but not in a cool lady of town. It depends on what you are looking for. It's a quiet, peaceful, very traditional place. One of the few places in Chiang Mai that has a pool, but it's not nessacery here in Chiang Mai. This city is about culture and food. The rooms are big with... More

This property is further from the city centre than is implied - and the pedestrian bridge opposite is being rebuilt, so there is a long detour to walk into town via the busy road bridge. The rooms are fine - we had a one bedroom suite at the back, which was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast is acceptable. There is... More

We stayed here for 4 nights, could easily have been more. Beautiful, spacious rooms; perfect for families. Just outside town centre, once you close the gate it's like entering an oasis of serenity. Lovely pool and verdant grounds, and welcoming staff who brought us breakfast in our room the night before to eat there in the morning due to an... More

Just spent two wonderful weeks enjoying the charm and peaceful gardens of Baan Orapin. Well situated, spacious rooms, attentive and friendly staff. This is our second visit and we are sad to be leaving after another perfect stay. Highly recommended.

A beautiful guest-house at a perfect location. The rooms are very nicely furnished, clean with very comfortable beds and soft bed linen. Delicious breakfast is served on a nice terrasse in teck near the swimming pool. It is in the center near the river but very quiet inside the house. Nice riverside bars and restaurants are at walking distance, as... More

It is an oasis in a buissy city. Inside the Gates it is a lush and tranquil paradise close to everything such as the nightmarket and the Thai-food-market. Fantastic room and service. For us it has probably ben the best feeling at a stay ever.

This weekend was the second time I've stayed at Baan Orapin, and I loved it as much as the first time. The gardens are lush and a haven from city life. Rooms are carefully styled with Thai antiques and luxurious linens. The bathrooms are beautiful, with colourful tiles and beautiful fixtures. The junior suites have ample spaces for sleeping and... Our family of four were lucky enough to spend six nights at this wonderful B&B. We had the family room at the rear of the property which was two connecting bedrooms (1 x king and 2 x singles) both had bathrooms and ac. The rooms were decorated lovely and had everything we needed. Breakfast was always delicious and was served... More
