I am attracted by the traditional architecture of Baan Orapin coupled with its clean, quite and well kept environment. The junior suite I stayed in is like a house with gardens around it, providing a very homely feeling. The manager Mr Pepsi is very caring, attentive and always wears a smile. During my 3 days' stay there, he served me... More

Enter the gate of this beautiful property and you can feel the calm surround you after the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai. We made use of the pool every day and there was an extensive selection of delicious breakfasts. Rooms were comfortable and quiet, decorated in Thai style. Pepsi and Opas were wonderful to deal with from booking process... More

Staying at the Baan Oraapin was by far the best decision we made during our trip to Thailand. There is so much to praise! Firstly, the location is superb. So close to the city center, but the street the hotel is located has enough cafe's and eateries you wouldnt ever need to stray! Helpful hint, try Regina's and Woo Cafe... More

A wonderful, quiet, period hotel with simple luxury. My partner and I wanted to stay in a guest house rather than a hotel during our short stay in Chang Mai. We weren't disappointed - we had some of the best nights' sleep we have ever had! The main building is beautiful, full of teak and mahogany. The pool area and... More

I loved my stay. The room was gorgeous and spacious and the grounds were even better. Very large and nicely decorated restroom and a large patio where you could snack or read. It felt private and very green, even though there are rooms close by. Breakfast was great and staff was very accommodating. They helped plan my days including tours... More

We're coming to the end of 6 nights here and it's been amazing. We have a Rear Junior Suite which is right at the back on the ground floor. We can see the pool from our " front door". It's a lovely clean pool with 6 beds around the edge...but there's just me here now even though it's boiling hot.... More

We stayed here last year too and nothing seems to change. You enter the gates from a noisy street into an oasis of calm. The owners work hard to make your stay perfect and if we do come back again, it will be surely be here we stay.

We stayed at Baan Orapin, on a return visit to Chiang Mai. I can confirm that Baan Orapin is once again keeping to its very high standards. The rooms are very comfortable. Mr Pepsi and the team do a great breakfast. There is a noisy street outside, but as you come through the gates into the perfectly kept gardens, everything... More

I was delighted with my stay at Baan Orapin recently. The house is set back from a busy road so you don't realise you're in busy Chiang Mai. I had an enormous room near the front of the compound which was luxurious. The breakfasts are truly delicious - cooked Thai specialties. The hospitality was wonderful. Great pool for taking a... Close the gates and shut out the noise and heat of the city and enter an oasis of calm. Lovely rooms, spotlessly clean and furnished with handwoven products. Always made to feel very welcome-very friendly and helpful. Nice swimming pool-great for cooling off after sightseeing or just to relax by. Good choice of breakfast-western or northern thai served outside by the... More
