We stayed at Baan Orapin in mid March for 2 nights and cannot fault the service and stay. When we arrived at the B&B, it was along a busy/noisy road. Slightly concerned about the noise at first but when we walked into the grounds, it was beautiful. The combination of the architecture of the buildings (built in Northern Thai style)... More

We have stayed here for 3 nights while in Chiang Mai. Really lovely place to stay for something different to the large hotel experience. I travelled with two children and wanted them to experience a more authentic thai feel than large chain hotels. They have loved it. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the grounds are so lush and... More

Just returned from 2 weeks in CM. This is a perfect quiet hideaway. It's close to everything, has amazing staff , great breakfast, pool was always cool. Can't wait to return in august and every time we come back to CM. Thanks Pepsi, Opas and staff.

Only downside is the sleep quality and street noise, oh, and the mosquitos, but they will come and spray your room if you ask them. Would definitely stay again if we get the chance to return to Chiang Mai

Visited in early March and we were greeted by Mr Pepsi, really welcoming and once on the property we were directed to a house that has stood for 700 years, in the reception area we filled out the registration form (no computer logging) lovely. Then showed to the room, junior suit rear, beautiful room perfect for a couple. We passed... More

Plus Points: - proximity to heart of icy whilst managing to deliver a calm and relaxing environment - gardens and pool facilities are very well kept and relaxing, a welcome break from the dust and bustle of the city - many service shops (washing) and small restaurants just down the road from the hotel - 15 minute walk to gated... The Baan Orapin was a gem of a bed and breakfast. The room was huge (junior suite) and included a king bed, large bathroom, sofa, wifi, tv, screened porch with fridge, and a small outdoor terrace. The staff are wonderful. Pepsi is the most gentle and helpful person around and took great care of us at breakfast, on arrival and... More

Hi, who traveled to Chiang Mai knows that this town is a little bit stressfull. Well thank to this hotel we spend an excellent time here. The reception was very warm and friendly, the breakfast was (repetitive) delicious, the room confortable, the location is perfect, not directly in the town, but close enough. Well in a 3 weeks traveling through... More

We stayed at Baan Orapin in January, 2014, for three nights. We found it to be amazing! The rooms and grounds are a perfect retreat from the bustling city. We had a family crisis come up at home and had to spend more time at the B & B than normal and were so grateful it was such a pleasant... More

Baan Orapin is truly a wonderful oasis – walking through the gate off a busy street, one enters a large, lush property with beautiful Lanna-style buildings scattered about. After checking in, we are directed to our room - a ground floor junior suite in the back. The room is lovely – there is a 4 poster-bed, a separate sitting area,... More
