I stayed at People Place for two nights as part of a tour group. For a basic hotel, this was an excellent choice. The room was comfortable and relatively clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the sheets were clean and good quality. The air-conditioning worked great which is important as Chiang Mai is hot. The internet wasn't free (it... More

Decent for those who just want to find a place to sleep during the night after a tiring day travelling. This place is near the night market and halal road for Muslims looking for halal food. I have no complaints on the room as we have good view, air conditioner, private bathroom and the room spacious as well.

Looking at the reviews we were very lucky with our room - it was a corner one with two windows an tonnes of space, plus a balcony. Room was clean & showers hot lou we had a fridge. I know a friends room was less inviting. Lounge area downstairs is comfortable. Wifi is 60b per stay but they don't mind... More

The room is tired, and the pictures on Agoda are not an accurate depiction of what you get. Breakfast was included with our room, but you can also buy it at a cost of 110 Baht per person. If I had paid 110 Baht for that breakfast, I would have felt cheated. It was ordinary at best. If you need... More

Okay, average cleanliness but no fridge. Rooms were old tired and what I expected given the price. So I was not disappointed, except for the lack of free wifi, no fridge. The location was okay close to the night market.

A small friendly hotel. Great location, very close to the night bazaar with plenty of restaurants nearby. Rooms all ensuite, basic but clean and very cheap. Staff always helpful and friendly. Recommended.

Last minute change of plan meant spending New Year in Chiang Mai and with almost everything booked in the city I found this place. It's location near to the Night Bazaar is very central and despite this it is a very quiet place. Good size room, 60THB for unlimited wifi and pleasant buffet breakfast for 110 THB. 2 points for... Very much 3 star hotel. Service lacks something but the location is very good. Stayed as part of tour so no problems. Rooms are clean and unpretentious, but carpet in hallway needs replacing. Breakfast is typical Thai, with some Western touches. Wifi 60 Baht unlimited. I would return

We stayed for 2 night in Peoples Place I, booked at the airport as 3 star hotel for nearly 30 USD. The hotel very old and have dirty carpets and facilities. Wifi only in the lobby. All in all better stay away.

Stayed here as part of a tour. The night market and restaurants are within a 100m of the hotel. I felt safe walking back on my own at 10pm at night as it was so busy. My room was basic to the back of the hotel facing the road. Could hear Karaoke being played on the 1st night and was... More
