This is the second time I've stayed here, and let me start on the positives. It's in a good situation, close to Thapae Gate, the Sunday Walking Street, the night bazaar and Loy Kroh Road, although be warned, that whole area is undergoing wholesale changes due to closures of many bars and early closing restrictions of others. This may change... More

The place is old but well maintenance. Helpful staffs. Some of them can speak chinese, so there're so many Chinese tourists in the hotel. But if you're a westerner, you might be disappoint in breakfast. Cold fried egg and sausages, something that look like omelet and very bad coffee. But fried rice and fried Noodle in Soy Sauce was ok.

It’s not always easy to properly communicate exactly what a hotel actually ‘feels like’, and for many reading these reviews, that's almost an irrelevance. Afterall, we are often there but for a short time so as long as it's reasonably well placed and clean, then it's usually fine! I have to say, I view things rather differently as the 'Hotel... More

we stayed here for 7 days in may. The service was great and Ar Cheng was especially helpful. We had a deluxe room which was very spacious and comfortable. The room was kept very clean. The buffet breakfast was great. This hotel is well positioned and is only a short tuk tuk ride to the night markets and the centre... More

Rooms were value for money. Clean, spacious, basics are provided and definitely a good location too. Walking distance to the night market, away from the busy bustling street and next to a Buddhist temple. Wifi was good and breakfast was good too. Staffs were friendly, and trustworthy too (carelessly left my money next to the bed and nothing was touched... More

There is nothing fancy about this place, but we felt is was a good value for the money. The room was large and clean with a western style bathroom. The location is ideal as there are many cafes and shops nearby. You are about a 5 minute walk to the Old Town gate. The staff was friendly and offered us... More

The only advantage is : the location, right on the corner of Tapae road, just a 7 minutes walk to Tapae Road, nothing worth stay in this hotel except the location, looks like an 30 years old hotel, carpet and the flush toilet are dirty....we don't even wanna step on the carpet or use toilet......simply stay one night and moved to the other hotel......

My husband and I were here on the Chinese New Year weekend. We paid 1,400 Baht for this sad old room. It only worth no more than 600 Bht. in my opinion. I booked this room through Agoda because the pictures looks nice. It sure fools me. The bedsheet looks like it has a mold stain on it. The blanket... More

Staff are fantastic, very helpful. They do their very best for you and speak good English. The foyer is very large and welcoming as is the breakfast room to the right. Looks very nice neat and tidy. But that's where it all ends. This hotel needs a huge capitol investment to bring it up to the 21st century. Bathroom and... More
