I stayed in this nightmare last October. I wrote a review - please see under the 'terrible' rank above. I read some of these favourable reviews and think the people writing them must be either blind, have no standards or are maybe writing about anther guest house. One person said there was plenty of room for kids to play round... More

Tri Yaan Na Ros is a converted antique building, now a welcoming guesthouse - the front entrance is on a narrow back lane while the rear entrance is via the entirely pleasant cafe/restaurant. The rooms are on the small side, but they are gorgeously appointed and welcoming (and you didn't come to Chiang Mai to spend the whole time in... More

The guest house appears to be converted from the traditional home of a wealthy family; it has beautiful trees and landscaping including a (small) pool. The location is five to ten minutes walk to the city "square" boundary and close to a local market for buying fruit. The room was traditional and well presented with everything generally working. The staff... More

The reveiw title says it all. We stayed here for 4 nights in March. On arrival while checking in the guy took 15 minutes to eventually sort us out while all the while we were being eaten alive by mozzies. Then when we got to our room (which was advertised as "Features pool view" - it had no veiw whats... More

This was my favorite hotel we stayed in during our vacation. It's in a great location, has wonderful staff, and is very cute! Hotel pool is beautiful and a nice area to relax in. The hotel has bikes that you can borrow. The staff helped us get around to he things we wanted to do and wee very helpful with... More

First impressions, very friendly welcome, beautiful grounds and speedy check-in. I was on a group tour with 11 others but bagged a room to myself here. We stayed here on two separate occasions in our 2 weeks in Chiang Mai and the first room I had was in the back building and was simply stunning and much bigger than expected.... More

Hotel is right on Saturday walking street market, only 10 minutes by walk from south gate of old city, and up to 10 min. by taxi from airport (flat rate 120 TBH). It is located in lush green garden, in few separate buildings with total of 8 rooms. Open air reception area/lobby and poolside is in one place. Pool is... More

Of the many surprises this hotel offered, probably the most surprising was that the wifi is both stable and fast. I don't like staying at the big chain hotels, but one of the reasons I do is that if I need to take a conference call via skype, I need the wifi to be solid - and this really was... More

It's quiet and stylish. A nice alternative to pricey hotels. It's a 10 min walk from the old city and the free bike rental from the hotel should be a plus. However, the bikes are very obsolete and made weird sound when cycling. Many other small hotels rent bikes to their customers and I would not mind paying the 50B... More

We stayed here for two nights over Christmas in the deluxe villa. The villa was very large with a sitting area, two bedrooms, balcony and a study alcove with a computer provided.  It is a colonial house with loads of character, beautiful grounds and a swimming pool. Breakfast was included offering a cooked breakfast, cereals and pastries.  Dinner was one... More
