Very well taken care of by staff but room wasn't great. Ants in bathroom, bathroom was very small and bed was very hard. Food was great and hammocks in the garden were fun. Great location, be sure to visit Iggy at Thai One On Bar just street down.

Spent 4 nights with my boyfriend. We needed a place in Chiang Mai, and this suited our needs fine. Would recommend for the value, although you can certainly find similar pricing throughout Chiang Mai. Room: Basic bed, towels provided. Bathroom sometimes had an off smell coming from it; we guessed it would happen when someone above us flushed their toilet... More

This guesthouse is located in a nice and quiet neighbourhood of Chiang Mai and has remarkable friendly and helpful staff. Rooms and breakfast are cheap, but of excellent quality. The courtyard (with hammocks!) is a nice place to relax. We would definitely go back here next time. Note that it is not so much a place for backpackers looking for... More

As a single woman traveller I felt very comfortable and safe at the libra house. The staff are actually a family and are very friendly and helpful in booking things. The rooms are modest but comfortable. Great location as well.

This place is okay, not good for solo traveller, as you have to come as a group to be allowed in the dorm room. Only option is to have a single room which cost 250 baht. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The vibe of the people it attracts and the ambience of the place is hindering, mostly big groups... More

My excitement for Chiang Mai started during my conversation with the mystery lady (Dao) on the other end of my mobile. Our short conversation (me inquiring about availability) was met with jokes and laughter, as if phoning an old friend about an upcoming visit. I cannot put into words the special place Libra Guest House holds in my heart. I... More

This is a good place to stay in Chiang Mai if your interested in doing a jungle trek or day trips and tours. They are a Tourist office first and a guesthouse second. The staff are lovely and approachable, very easy to communicate with and we booked a great 2 day trek with them. We would have preferred to do... More

We had an amazing stay here! One thing that stood out especially was the Eco-trek (organised by Libra House) which gave us the opportunity to see elephants, unlike those in other places, these live and roam free through a national park jungle. This was a truly unique experience which one cannot put into words, very different from the parks in... More

My wife and I were originally going to stay there for 4 nights but we extended our stay to 8 nights. The people that work there are extremely friendly and will help you find a cab, restaurant, night market, or anything else that you need. They offer treks that are pretty good but strenuous. We went on a 2 day... More

The guesthouse is really no different than most - clean, simple and conveniently situated but it is the staff that truly makes the difference. Welcoming smiles and a willingness to share all kinds of local knowledge from hand-drawn maps to help tweaking my itinerary as a tour guide. They really had great suggestions and all were ethically motivated. From another... More
