A very pleasant little guesthouse situated about 60 seconds from the Night Bazaar. The staff were very helpful and always greeted us with smile. We stayed in room 206 and the wifi was very good (we could watch YouTube videos instantly). There was also 5 or 6 decent English channels on the TV. The bar downstairs was cheap too, a... More

Loved this hotel. Very reasonable price £9 a night. Basic but clean. Went for a fan only room and that was all we needed in Feb. Two second walk to the night bazaar. Would stay here again if visiting Chang Mai.

This is a reasonable priced guest house, staff are reasonably attentive although we had to ask them to make sure they knocked before entering to clean the room and asked the cleaners to stop noisily chatting outside our room. The room is average, but the reason I will never stay here again was the constant noise from the temple next... More

I have been comming to this modest hotel for 20 years and it is OK if you know what to expect. Rooms are big enough, all with private shower-toilet room, tv, air-con, free water and free Wifi. All these for less than €20 a room for 3 people, right in the centre of the city. Breakfast is €1.65 and it... More

The room is amazing considering the low budget for one night. The location is perfect. I come here with my wife all the time, which is (2-3 times a month) ... And replying to Alexraz's comment i haven't seen or heard any employees outside the room ever, so if u had bad luck for only one night that doesn't mean... More

Previous stays at The Lanna Thai have always been pleasant. This time things have gone downhill. The room was not cleaned or serviced once during a 4 night stay and I had to ask reception for towels , soap etc.(somewhat ironic as the cleaning staff were chatting loudly outside the room early on the first morning after a late night... I love this guesthouse! I stayed there last year during Songkran and returned again this year for 10 days. The staff is helpful and the maids keep your room clean and well stocked with towels, soap and free bottled water. the location is great. just a few hundred feet from the night market. check out the Bamboo Bar at the... Well, it not The Oriental though definitely worth the money. Having stayed there for five days it is quiet, fairly clean, features off road parking and everything can be reached by walking. The (Thai) food cooked is soso lala but that is also set forth in the pricing; edible but no great shakes. Anytime again; for families or the more... More

Stayed here for 5 nights. The location is great, next to the night bazaar which has plenty of restaurants and bars. However, due to the close proximity to the night bazaar it did get a little noisy at night - we could hear the nearby kareoke bar quite well! The small kitchen. Serves breakfast and light meals, breakfast was very... More

Really great budget guesthouse really close to the night markets and restaurants. The hotel staff are really polite & helpful and you can book tours and travel from the reception desk. The rooms are decent, basic, but have everything you need, they are clean and well presented for the money that you pay.
