The room is amazing considering the low budget for one night. The location is perfect. I come here with my wife all the time, which is (2-3 times a month) ... And replying to Alexraz's comment i haven't seen or heard any employees outside the room ever, so if u had bad luck for only one night that doesn't mean... More

Previous stays at The Lanna Thai have always been pleasant. This time things have gone downhill. The room was not cleaned or serviced once during a 4 night stay and I had to ask reception for towels , soap etc.(somewhat ironic as the cleaning staff were chatting loudly outside the room early on the first morning after a late night... I love this guesthouse! I stayed there last year during Songkran and returned again this year for 10 days. The staff is helpful and the maids keep your room clean and well stocked with towels, soap and free bottled water. the location is great. just a few hundred feet from the night market. check out the Bamboo Bar at the... Well, it not The Oriental though definitely worth the money. Having stayed there for five days it is quiet, fairly clean, features off road parking and everything can be reached by walking. The (Thai) food cooked is soso lala but that is also set forth in the pricing; edible but no great shakes. Anytime again; for families or the more... More

Stayed here for 5 nights. The location is great, next to the night bazaar which has plenty of restaurants and bars. However, due to the close proximity to the night bazaar it did get a little noisy at night - we could hear the nearby kareoke bar quite well! The small kitchen. Serves breakfast and light meals, breakfast was very... More

Really great budget guesthouse really close to the night markets and restaurants. The hotel staff are really polite & helpful and you can book tours and travel from the reception desk. The rooms are decent, basic, but have everything you need, they are clean and well presented for the money that you pay.

Chiang Mai My fiancé and I stayed at this property in October 2013 while backpacking around Asia. We found the property to be adequate for our requirements and extremely affordable. The property lacks the charms and luxuries that western travellers come to expect in Thailand, however, keeping in mind the ridiculously low price you certainly do get more than you... More

We was stay for 4 nites here. The location is good, just few steps from Anusan Night Bazaar and 10 minutes from Kalare Night Bazaar. The room is basic and simple but its quite clean. Definately suitable if you just look for cheap and nice place to sleep. Recommended for those who traveling in tight budget.

A flying visit for 2 nights to visit a friend . Very basic but clean and comfortable, with hot water shower, and TV. Location is perfect if you want quick easy access to night bazaar. For 400 baht a night it is excellent value for the budget traveler,I'll stay again!!

Stayed here a night , within walking distance to the Night Bazaar. They have a restaurant where you can stop for breakfast and meals although walking to the Night Bazaar will give you a better choice. We had a room on the first floor, rooms felt rather cramped but ok for a night- good to have a fridge in the... More
