We booked this hotel in February (quite early!) and asked for a price indication. We got an email back with room prices etc. When we checked in the hotel they asked 200 baht (4 euro's)more for every room every night. After a bit of a discussion and showing the email we got the rooms for the normal price. But after... more

We had a horrible stay and changed hotel. As a young couple, we planed to take a few days off in Chiang Mai. I found that receptionists at the hotel were unusefull. Not interested in giving me any advices, but always ready to help young male guests... at the end, my husband decided to find another place to stay. The... more

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this hotel, the first time was quite enjoyable however this stay was a different matter! For starters the hotel has had very little in terms of maintenence from the last time we were there and is beginning to appear a little frayed around the edges, for example many... more

The location of this hotel is good. The rooms where very disappointing. Very dark with a view of a wall right in front of your window so you have to keep your curtains drawn all the time. The hotel is run down and needs some repairs. The first room we had had wet carpet, as if someone spilled a whole... more

I stayed at this property in Chiang Mai for 4 nights, and it was overall a very nice place to stay. I did extensive research, and was able to find a good rate with breakfast included through a 3rd party website -- about $20/nt less than comparable properties and the price through their own website. If you do go this... more

Three of us went to Chiang Mai for the first time and stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was great! We had two huge rooms that were the cheap ones, basic but very comfortable. The pool was excellent. Very sunny with big comfy lounge chairs. There were plenty and almost noone around. Breakfast was good and we also ate there... more

I'd read good reviews of this place and decided to book it for our 3 night stay in Chang Mai. All I can say is that it was very very average. The room we had on the 1st floor was fine although quite dark with not much of a view. The breakfast was terrible - we tried it once and... more

This hotel on first arrival looks lovely - a nice escape from the high rises. We booked on the internet and were looking forward to a bit of luxury after work every day. When we first arrived we wer given a room at the far end of the first floor. It was well below the quality you would expect for... more

Reservation of the rooms was easy with the hotel website. We had two deluxe rooms that were small but nicely furnished. But the rooms were not very clean, we had a lot of mosquitos and the view from the window was awful : a junkyard... View outside our door was fine : the pool and garden. Our room was on... more

Karinthip Village is an excellent Hotel in a great Location in Chiang Mai. The lovely gardens separated the hotel from the nearby noise of the bustling city. – An oasis close to restaurants, markets and just out side the old walled city. The Swimming Pool was refreshing and clean. The rooms were clean, well furbished, and very comfortable. We requested... more
