I am just cracking up at the negative reviews here, first of all I don't know what you paid, but my rate was $22/night. It is yes an old hotel but has a great deal of character, clean, hugely close to some of the best mom and pop Thai restaurants in the old town. Also near beautiful Wats and only... More

This humongous hotel would benefit more from a big turnover you'd expect in a busy city. As a result, it's massive dining room and banquet halls you find on every floor are derelict and in need of repair. Fantastic building however. The rooms are spacious and clean. Food portions are big and cheap too which makes BP Hotel appealable to... More

In all the years ive been in chiang mai this is the worst hotel i have ever seen, i booked for 4nights and left after first day. The most dirty hotel i have ever seen. Old, ugly and no care for the rooms being clean. The bathroom was full with stains, dirt, didnt even bother cleaning the windoz, toilet completely... More

The location is really good to get to most places in the Old City. You can honestly walk anywhere within the Old City which is nice. The bed is comfortable, and they have more English channels than I've seen in 4 months in Asia. It's right next door to a great massage place, good pool, and good restaurants/cafe nearby, but... We spent 4 nights in this hotel. The rooms were cleaned on daily basis. Also, we had a new set of towels everyday. Big rooms, aircon and hot showers worked properly. The curtain of the shower needed to be changed (it had some stains) and the carpet in the building was pretty dirty. The hotel lacks in character. For the... More

We stay in the hotel for 5 night, its inside the old city but not on the good side, we had to pay for transportion all the time. Its really out of date, the room is not walcoming at all so most of the stay we wornt in it. Breakfest is ok but after 2 days we stoped eating there... More

The hotel was nice, the pool was pleasant, the restaurant wasn't really expensive and we enjoyed our stay there. But when they helped us get a ride to our next hotel, we were totally ripped off and not happy about it! The staff were generally helpful and the hotel is very large and quite fancy for its price range. We... More

We enjoyed our stay here. Room was comfortable and service excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast with a good variety of Asian and western food to choose from. The cook made one of the best omelettes I have had in all my travels. She also remembered what I liked and was ready to cook each time we appeared for the... More

Hotel is in a good location with some parking. We seemed to enter through the restaurant with a walk up some stairs to the lobby. Lobby bright. Quick check in and bell boy helped us to our rooms. On the 4th floor. Lift very old and only just stays open for 1 person to get out! Corridor floors stained and... More

Decent location in city centre. Breakfast adequate, Tiny swimming pool but somewhere to sit outside for a while if time permits. Room a decent size but on ground floor so no view from window. Furniture and bathroom old and tired, hotel needs a good makeover.
