We stayed three nights here. It is an older large hotel, around the corner from the Post Office. We enjoyed our stay. It is in the Old City, in a quiet neighborhood. It's not very far to the main road and to the heart of the city. The room was clean, the bed was okay, the pillow was too high... More

This hotel has a lovely location within the city walls which you can get to most things in a short walk. They also offer a free shuttle service to the night bazaar which was a nice addition. You have to get your own way back, lots of tuk tuk drivers (100 Baht). The hotel itself looks very grand at the... More

We spent a few nights here and the rooms are pretty large, though dated. Breakfast was decent, staff was helpful, hotel seems clean and well maintained. There is a free shuttle daily at 7 pm to the Night Bazaar. There is also a nice, well maintained swimming pool, although we didnt use it. Location is quite good, on a relatively... More

I came with my family from the street to book this hotel and got a triple room room plus extra bed for 273 TB a night because of low season. For this price it was absolutely excellent. Good pool for the children, perfect and relatively quiet location, really helpful staff, quite good breakfast and excellent room condition, clean ... All... More

When you walk in, you welcomed with a lovely reception but then it goes wrong from there....hotel has a earry feel and our room was not good at all. Large but very dated. On the side of our wardrobe were marks that where clearly from where they had ripped a cabinet away. The bed base was revolted and the bed... More

We stayed several days here with minimal hassle. The rates were ok and service wasn't too bad. The shower pressure and temperature isn't good and there was mould in the bathroom. The pool is fairly cold as it doesn't get much sun even though it was quite warm during our stay. Breakfast was pricey without much selection however a great... More

As some of the other reviews state, this hotel seems ok from the lobby. That is where it ends. The rooms are filthy and the headboards have stains all over them. There were people (I am guessing employees of the hotel) shouting and making a commotion outside of my room until 2 am. Usually I can block this noise out,... More

Hotel lobby and exterior are misleading. Rooms are old and dirty. Bathrooms are filthy and full of mildew. Breakfast included was ok but tables not clean. Stay at Thongrans up street is a better option.

We had travelled for 5 weeks in the south and over the islands before booking a week in Chiang Mai. After some of the hotels we had stayed in this was a much better standard. Yes it isn't as nice as it could be, I think the hotel realise they have let it slide a bit and are starting to... More
