Overall service is still good for the price, but the hotel is very old and needs to be refurbished. Excellent location near malls and public transportation. Front desk staff tries to be helpful, but sometimes language problems and the state of the facilities make it impossible to resolve complaints. We stayed here for 7 weeks while working with a charity. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite and nothing was too much for them. Our room was large, ensuite and had air con. The staff at the YMCA are so friendly and helpful it makes staying at the International Hotel quite pleasant. Not fancy but cleaning staff stay on top of things daily.
