Good location... But beware, showers are a death trap, our sprayed water all over the light the electric switches & basically sprayed the whole bathroom. Beds are lumpy, mozzies every where, we were told to keep our door shut at all times. Vegetarian banquet good value for money, & very tasty, although it was stone cold by 8pm. Staff friendly... More

Gap's house is a nice place, the rooms are clean enough but far from spotless, it's in an excellent location and the breakfast is okay. The thing that I really didn't like about it is the extremely unfriendly staff. The staff here, as well as the boss herself seem to really not enjoy their work. There is never a smile,... More

My friend and I stayed here one night. The beds were the best we have had in Thailand. The mattresses were soft as were the two pillows per bed. The rooms all come with AC and a fan so you can manage your temperature very well. The room was spacious but low ceilings - major issue if you are tall.... More

I actually really enjoyed staying at this you hotel. It's got everything you need, spacious, clean and very beautiful garden setting. The breakfast is basic. And regardless of other reviews I found the staff friendly and fun. Although! I stayed 4 nights and on the last our door was left totally unlocked with the light on. I was furious, this... More

We arrived in Chiang may and took a red bus taxi to Gap's house. At first it was fully booked so we ate breakfast there (simple but good) and finally someone checked out. The room was basic, but very clean and with a nice bed. The mosquito net was also very good with no holes in it, so we slept... More

After walking around chiang mai looking for somewhere to rest our heads we stumbled across this little gem! Unable to pre-book you just walk in and I am so pleased we found it! Rooms are clean and safe which is important in Thailand! Right in the hustle and bustle but still so quiet it is just lovely! You have to... More

We only stayed one night but really could not fault it. The rooms were basic but had everything we needed. Bed was reasonable and shower was good. It's also in a good location. Only concern was that anyone could come and help themselves to the room keys although safe deposit boxes are provided. The staff are also pretty disinterested but... More

I stayed there for 4 nights and my experience was very similar to other reviews. Good location, nice garden, good clean room and bed but lots of mosquitoes, same breakfast every day, and rather "un-Thai" lack of hospitality. The staffs are not rude, but not friendly either which is strange for Thailand. The older lady ( presumably the owner) came... More

It's good because of the price and where it's located - in the old city (which is where all the cool stuff to see is) and close to the main road for markets etc. The Sunday walking market is literally 4 seconds walk from the guest house entrance! As others have said, the garden setting makes it a pretty hideaway... More

The guest house is all covered by plants and vegetation. The chambers are in wood, it s really esthetic and comfy. We paid 600 bath by room for 1 night, including the breakfast, AC and wifi. The personnel is not really welcoming but if you insist you can get the info you need and some advices. As we were just... More
