This small older guest home is perfect for both young and old travellers. It is located a few minute walk to the night market. Plenty to eat and see there. Plenty of transportation options close to the entrance of the hotel. Small reasonably priced restaurant on site. Good free wifi. This hotel offers great value for your money.

Nice location, especially if you intend to visit the HUGE Chinese markets in Chiang Mai, or visit some of the many temples in and around the older part of the city. The location is right on the river and the guesthouse has a very large breakfast area (also doubles as a restaurant) that has tables under a large roof and... More

POSITIVES • A quiet part of town (important given the weight of traffic on the streets of Chiang Mai). • It is about 3km from the bus station and the tuktuk cost 120 baht (we tried to bargain and he wouldn’t come down). There is some parking on site – mainly for motorbikes. • A riverside setting – not a... More

Stayed here in January for 4 nights. It is on the river down a lane way, so it is out of the hustle and bustle, but only a 10 minute walk to Thapae Gate. Loved staying here, the room is large and there are lovely gardens to sit in, either on the river or outside the rooms. There are also... More

Yes, it's on a murky looking river. Yes, it's got squadrons of mosquitoes. And you're looking across at a very busy road , noisy and with lots of garish neon signs. There are no 'floating' staff. If you want a drink you must go and find 'the lady'. Why bother giving you a kettle with no coffee or tea sachets?... More

We stayed here for 5 nights. The Hotel is situated on the River and is a 2 Minute walk from the Night Bazaar market and the rest of the the City Centre but it is tucked away and very quiet all the time. It has its own restaurant which we didn't end up eating at and a lovely garden. You... More

Clean, helpful staff, fair prices for food and drinks, great location, quiet and relaxing. Didn't really like room furnishing (a bit old). Hard beds but managed to sleep. Take insect repellant with you if you go to chiang mai.

Yet another mixed review. While the staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were not great. Our first room stunk of objectionable patchouli perfume. It was so intense that we had to move rooms; luckily they had one available. Other smaller issues like spongy uncomfortable bed, kettle and mugs but no coffee or tea, the hot water ran out... More

We stayed for one night. Great location - close to restaurants and night market, and just a 10-minute drive to the airport in the morning. The room we got was large, located on the ground floor facing a small pretty garden to have coffee in. All very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a tad small but the strong water pressure... More
