the hostel was ok, rooms and bathrooms were clean. but the staff was the unfriendliest i have ever met at a hostel. absolutely not helpful what so ever. the location is ok, if you don't want to wander the streets alone at night. internet did work alright. big common area and well equipped kitchen.

We stayed here for a night in a private room and I must say it was brilliant value for money. The only problem here is the staff do try and sell every trip available to you. This hotel is in a good location and ideal for budget travellers.

I found the hostel to be good, clean (except for the shared bathrooms sometimes), but the staff was not nearly as welcoming or friendly as I would have liked. I think sometimes they pretended to not be able to speak English so that they wouldn't have to help you. Only okay value at 400 THB per night for a dorm.... More

We stayed here for a night and So Hostel wasn't what I expected a hostel would look like. Aside from it's great location near the Night Bazaar and restaurants, you instantly feel the youthful vibe the moment you enter because of the hip interiors (mural walls, a common area where guests can mingle). Our room was also spacious and well-designed.

This place ticks all the boxes - Clean, comfortable, modern, good value and in a great location. The staff were very friendly and willing to help. Only facilities I used were the washer/dryer and they did the job - everything else looked good Lots of bars / restaurants on the same road and it has easy access to the main... More

I intended to stay here for 7 nights but left after one because - there was no one around to meet (it's low season, but no one really hung out in the common areas) - no wifi in the dorm - unhelpful staff - bathrooms were not clean - I was woken up by staff cleaning the room early in... More

I stayed here for 3 nights in a group of three friends. We stayed in an 8 bed dorm, which was clean with beds already made up and had good air con which could be controlled in the room. The hostel was not as sociable as others, and the main communal area didn't have much of an atmosphere. The showers... More

Considering how cheap this was, we were pleasantly surprised at the high standards at this hostel: it was very clean, with lovely furniture and good facilities. The location was also excellent, being within easy walking distance of the old city walls and all of the city centre's main attractions. Thai massages, 7-11 and nice restaurants can all be found just... More

Positives - clean - comfortable, quiet beds - big safes in dorms - every amenity you could want; washing machine, computers, fast wifi in all rooms, kitchen, big communal room with music - hot, private showers - lift to all floors - great location - modern, stylish, edgy feel Negatives - much pricier than other hostels in the area -... the only reason this place even gets two stars is because the beds were fairly comfortable, in contrast to all the wooden boards I slept on in se asia, and the air conditioning was very good (after I got it fixed after complaining several times. the location was good, a short walk to the night bazaar and about 20 minutes...
