Not your usual hostel! I stayed here on the recommendation of one of my friends who visited in June 2014 and I have loved every minute of it. The facilities are very clean, the staff are friendly and Khai the manager is super helpful. The location is perfect as it is located in the old city and within walking distance... More

When I arrived to this hostel I was warmly greeted by the brilliant owner Kai. He is the highlight of this place because he is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He can assist you with anything Chiang Mai related and book you onto tours at good prices. The rooms themselves aren't amazing. Fan room is noisy and showers aren't impeccably clean.... More

Hostel is average. Our time there was ok, until we were just about to leave. We spoke to khai, the guy who runs the hostel, about buses to sukhothai from pai. Before we had said anything he had booked us a bus and guilt tripped us into paying. We then arrived in pai, only to discover our ticket didnt include... More

The hostel is very clean and the common area is cozy, however future guests must be aware that only one of the 3 showers have warm water (the other two ones do not have heaters) and they are all in the middle of the first floor, 100% in front of the corredor, main door, dorms and staircase. You must leave... More

Stayed here Nov 14 with friends. The hostel is clean, wifi, three showers, two bathrooms, lockers available (deposit for lock I believe), bunk beds are comfortable enough, hangout area is nice, meals available during certain hours. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. Only possible con would be that there aren't many outlets about.

Khai was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of travel routes nearby Chiang Mai, activities to do in and also near Chiang Mai. Great atmosphere and active with fellow backpackers. Communal area was ideal for relaxing with a drink, to plan or just to chat.

Kai come across as a nice guy, but he's not in control and there are serious security issues in the place. So called 'secure' lockers are in the downstairs common area. I accidentally put my key in the wrong locker and it opened to someone else's valuables. There was an issue with missing money during the night. Police searched dorms... More

Thank you for your comment just few things need to say. In that night was the first time we had this problem the guy needed to get a flight home back to his country but forgot his bag with passport in it in the bathroom so we checked CCTV we saw 2 people around, the lady put extra bags in... More

The only thing goin for this place is the nice social common area. The owner is fantastic too - really cares. Besides that, it was in a more suburbian area which required a good 20 min walk to anywhere worthwhile. Prices are fine, as is the food! There are better places to go - I heard great things about HUG... More

Chiang Mai was my first stop on my journey, when i arrived at Thailandwow, i didn't really had a bigger plan yet. After sitting together with Khai for only 15 minutes, i already had plans for the next 3 days!. The accomodation was also very good, the quality you expect from a hostel. Also a great place to meet other... More

Great price, friendly staff. Would stay again. Central to everything. Rooms are good standard . Food was nice, although lot of places to go out and eat, drink. Plenty of activities to do. Would definitely stay again. Also would recommend to family and friends.
