We have just visited here few days ago. Room is clean and tidy, with good air con and fridge. And the location is great, just about 5-minute walk to Saturday Market and only short walk from Chiang Mai Gate. It is also closed to local food. Yet, it is not noisy and we could sleep well. Most importantly, the owner,... More

Nonni is a fantastic guesthouse. It is better value for money and level of service from the staff and owner than all the accommodation my boyfriend and I have experienced in our month of traveling Thailand so far. It is in a great location for good food, drinks and the old town. Alan who owns the guest house is extremely... More

A great budget place to stay if you are looking for somewhere to just rest your head at night. It's basic. But clean, friendly staff & Allen & his ADOREABLE sidekick (dog) Chanom were most welcoming and friendly. I would recommend. Close to almost everything & a great little pub/restaurant right next door with great food!

I went to Chiang Mai with my girlfriend and we spent couple of days in this guesthouse! If we had more time for sure we stayed for longer because the owner Allan is lovely with the guests! This is not a normally hospitality business where the money is most important than the people! He is from New Zealand and brought... More

I picked Nonni based solely on the fact it was run by a Kiwi, with the reasoning that I'm yet to cross paths with a Kiwi who isn't a complete legend. I wasn't disappointed - I booked for 2 nights and stayed for 10. Staying at Nonni with Allan is like going to stay at your favourite uncles house, the... More

Found this hotel on booking.com, and booked it due to its location and price. The hotel is very close to Chiang Mai gate, so its easy to get around on foot. For the price, we were very pleasantly surprised. Although the room was a little bit small, it was adequate and came with bug nets on windows, air conditioning, water... More

Thank you so much for your review. I am sorry about the wifi. As you know it does work but can be temperamental which is frustrating. I have had it looked at several times, bought a new modem/router thingy and am now waiting for another expert to visit. Cheers More

Great place for those on a budget or travelling solo. Location is really good. Just three minutes from Chiang Mai Gate, food markets and Saturday walking street. The rooms contain everything you need. I had a single room for 350 baht per night.

I liked the Nonni because It was very well located for how I like to travel. Not on top of all the noise so you can not sleep. But only a short walk to the Old City and Walking street.Walking street is a must if you are in town on Friday Night. There were more craft and interesting things there than the night...
