Spent the most comfortable nights in Thailand in this lovely and charming hotel. I used their complimentary bikes to navigate the Old City, tour the temples, and ride around the gated areas. Do NOT miss the breakfast! The coffee was an excellent treat. Warm water showers, comfy and clean beds, very romantic setting, too. Be sure to read the hotel... More

The Rich Lanna House offers excellent value and service for travelers of any age. The owner has paid great attention to detail in all aspects. The interior design, furniture, and artwork are reflective of the Lanna style. A nice touch throughout are samples of artwork by well known Chaing Mai artists. The lobby and pool area are both very welcoming... More

Rich Lanna House is beautifully furnished with interesting details. Our room was comfortable, not so big but just enough for our purposes. The pool was nice for cooling down. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The buffet breakfast was also very good. I just wondered the service attitude of the staff. You almost needed to chase them to get... More

My wife and I stayed in Rich Lanna House for 3 nights in Feb 2015. The room we stayed in was nicely furnished and clean. Wifi was spotty in the room but worked fine in the lobby. The staff was super friendly. We stayed on the second floor. There isn't much in terms of outside views from the room but... More

Spent two nights here; location doesn't place you near much locally but that results in their reasonable rates. Checked in and we were being charged more for a smaller room than the one we had reserved directly with the property. Took some time "standing firm" for what was on their email to me, and we got a sizeable room (Lanna... More

We spent a weekend in Chiangmai with my parents while they were visiting from Australia so booked two rooms. The guesthouse, which is more like a boutique hotel, is located on the northern end of the Old City, so a 15min walk to the centre where all the temples and better cafes are, or a 20baht/pp songthaew ride. It feels... More

Lovely hotel, very nicely decorated, spacious rooms. Staff were extremely helpful and thoughtful. Location is extremely practical for visiting the centre. The only downside is the main road if your room is towards the front of the hotel. Otherwise perfect.

We arrived in Chiang Mai hoping we had made a good choice with rich Lanna . Could not fault it . Spotlessly clean , we had deluxe room . Plenty of space , fantastic breakfast and a great little pool just enough to cool off in . The coffee shop has excellent coffee and great cheesecake . We would recommend... More

We stayed at the Rich Lanna House in later November and so pleased with our choice. The pottery, lamps and vessel sinks are purpose crafted for the guesthouse. Art work abounds the premises and the most gorgeous orchids are in bloom everywhere. Our room was beautiful with teakwood furnishings and on the main level with a lovely salt water swimming... More

We stayed at Rich Lanna House over the 2014/2015 new year. We initially planned on staying only three nights but ended up staying five because we loved it so much. This hotel was clean, beautiful and the staff was very helpful and friendly. An impressive breakfast buffet was included. A lot of thought has been put into decorations and furniture... More
