It was my second times for staying in Deluxe room! I like hotel style which is Lanna's Thai style and the hotel is bigger than others. There was excellent airport transfer, new van and nice driver! Receptionists were not friendly but they're processional instead. Breakfast was good that so many kind of foods to selected such as; Thai and western... More

This hotel was built as it suggests in 2000 and is just a regular local 4 star property. The rooms are in fair condition, comfrtable beds and the bathroom whilst a bit tired all functions as you would expect. There is a very nice and popular Japanese restauarant as well as the traditioanal Thai restaurant on the ground floor. The... More

I usually stay in mountain bungalows when I go to Chiang Mai, but this time I had to do business in the actual city of Chiang Mai, so I chose this hotel which is in town. The free breakfast should be avoided as usual with most Thai hotels. As far as the rooms go, the bed was clean and the... More

Stayed here for 1 night end of October. It is quite an old property but it wasn't too bad for me when you consider the cheap room rate. Location is near the trendy spots of Nimmanhemin but nothing much right by the vicinity of the hotell. Our room faced the hills and it was quite pretty. I also liked that... More

This is a great hotel, equal to a Hilton in the US. That is rare in Thailand, but this hotel staff knows Western standards. The breakfast was excellent (with the exception of those nasty British banger sausages lol.) We had eggs fixed many ways, bacon, potatoes, etc. If I am ever in the area again I would request the Chiangmai... More

This is a Thai business hotel, with a nice pool. It's on a busy street (the one to the temple Doj Sutep, which is brilliant). The hotel is large, but needs some renovation. The windows don't fully close, letting the streetnoise in. We found a rather large cockroach in our bathroom (only once, but still...). The restaurant is OK, but... More

I spent 5 days at The Chiang Mai Hill Hotel with friends in February 2005 and found it to be quite good value ($55 AUD per night at the time). We booked the hotel at short notice following a spontaneous decision made in Bangkok to visit Chiang Mai. It had been listed in the Lonely Planet guide to Thailand under... More
