The Chiang Mai Orchid has a beautiful lobby and the staff are helpful. The room we stayed in was large and spacious but rather worn. Although a reasonably highly rated hotel, the facilities and rooms were generally worn and the staff were, in the main, indifferent and occasionally unhelpful.
