We just had a two night stay at the hotel. Previous to arriving id emailed the hotel with a slight issue. Within 24 hours the hotel manager had emailed me back. When we arrived the staff were so welcoming and throughout the stay every member of staff we came in contact with just wanted to help. Our honeymoon suite was... More

My partner had previously been to Chiang Mai and spotted this hotel.... Needless to say, we weren't disappointed! Though the rooms are a little dated (my partners opinion), they are quite roomy (and VERY clean). The breakfast is lovely - there is LOADS to choose from however, for the 3 mornings we were there, it was very busy every day... More

This hotel has seen better days as evidenced by the marble and pretty woodwork in the foyer, The room we stayed in had grungy looking tile in the bathroom and the lampshades had a layer of dust. Anyways it was affordable and located close enough to the attractions we wanted to see.

Older hotel but well worth the stay. The staff are excellent. The buffet breakfast is superb. Tour desk is very helpful with a good range of tours. A few minutes walk to walking markets. If there are any negative reviews for this hotel don't believe them. I've given it 5 out of 5

I stayed one night at this hotel after arriving on the overnight train from Bangkok because I wanted something easy to book before I could find a guesthouse in Chiang Mai. The hotel was ok, nothing remarkable, but you could probably find something better for the price.

Located in few min walk from the night bazaar of Chiang Mai, Rooms are clean, service is good. Breakfast is nice, wide selection of Asian & western style, fruits were "tired" Facilities (room & public) should be renewed. Elevators can keep you waiting, very slow....

All in all the hotel is good. Location is great - 5 minutes walk from the "night bazzar", 3 minutes to a 7/11. Rooms are kept clean, the bathroom needs some good scrubbing, as there is some mold. Breakfast is good and has a bid variety. Beware of the " mineral water" trick. When I checked out they told me... More

If you are on the go and just use your hotel room to sleep this is a great option as it's inexpensive, close to the night bazar and ancient city. We were just coming off a 6 night stay on Koh Samui at 2 beautiful resorts. The hotel is very clean, and comfortable but would not suggest the food in... More

The Imperial Mae Ping Hotel is clean and ideally situated for shopping and a visit to the Chiang Mai night market which is very interesting and lots of things to buy. Don't forget to "bargain". We also found the staff at the Imperial Mae Ping Hotel very friendly. In the reception area one is able to book for different half... More
