I've stayed at some of the best hotels around the world. For me, this was THE BEST. Every time I turned around I found myself saying "This is magical - I could stay here forever." The service is unbelievable. Our room was large and beautiful. We had a terrace overlooking the rice paddies. Based on a five star rating, I... more

We spent 5 days at the Four Seasons in Chiang Mai and we just loved every piece of it ! The location is great (if you don't mind to be far from the city center, 25-30 mn drive), the landscape is beautiful and it's so peaceful. We were there with our 2 children, 6 years old and 3 years old.... more

I returned two weeks ago from a holiday in Thailand/Singapore. I can say, without a doubt, the the Four Seasons was the best hotel/resort I have ever stayed at, and I've been around a little bit. It's hard to put into words just what a great experience staying at this resort was. We stayed four nights during a time when... more

One of my favorite all time hotels! From the moment you get there the service is excellent. The property is simply beautiful. It is a 25 minute drive from town but worth every second of it. The peace and tranquility can’t be beat. Rooms are beautiful, bathrooms are very large (almost a room to itself) and the huge balconies overlooking... more

This was my first time staying at a Four Seasons and I was amazed. My wife really wanted to stay here but I was reluctant based on the price. Believe me, every dollar spent was worth it. The staff was unbelievable and would help you out in any way possible. The buildings and grounds were absolutely amazing and the attention... more

For background, I am a frequent (2 x a year) visitor to Thailand to visit family that are working in Thailand. I always spend some time in Chiang Mai before or after my visits. I have stayed at the Oriental, Chedi, Rachamachka, etc. during this visits. I am also a frequent Four Season guest in other places. In fact I... more

My wife and I just returned from Thailand, where we visited for two weeks. We stayed at the FS Chiang Mai for four nights in the middle of our trip. What a place! The staff was absolutely incredible. EVERY person there not only excelled at their specific job, but also wnet out of their way to make sure all aspects... more

Outstanding hotel outside of Chiang Mai. Beautiful rooms, although be very specific on booking. Our travel agent( Absolute Travel)booked a mountain view room which is not a room type at the hotel. We ended up with what they called an upper rice terrace room,# 702, which did have a mountain view but no rice terrace view. We were behind the... more

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful and tranquil setting between jungle and rice fields (designed). Not much to do/see close by. Don't go to Chiang Mai city - one big tourist trap. We went there with our young daughters and had a perfect time. Excellent hotel for families w small children and couples - not for singles and teenagers. No night... more
