First, I wish to clarify the rating. Compared to other hotels, this is a 3-4. Compared to what else is available in town, it is a 5. Please read on. I have also included some comments on the best way to get to the town and the Royal agricultural project. This hotel is a lovely place to stay, but it... More

I stayed here 3 nights and enjoyed the facilities the hotel has to offer, clean spacious rooms with good bathroom facilities. The restaurant serves tasty Thai food (I didnt try the western menu) and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if in the area

This was our third visit to this hotel and we will return for sure. Our 18 month old son enjoyed the scenery and fauna (which is wonderfully different to Singapore). May is the 'wet' season and perhaps as a result the hotel was almost empty. This was a shame as the weather did not hold us back, and the occasional... More

My wife and I stayed from the 10th to the 17th of April 2014 and wish we had stayed another 2 weeks. We were picked up from our hotel in Chiang Mai by the resorts' minibus and returned the same way. We were shown nothing but kindness and respect from all the staff the whole time we stayed there. We... More

A very nice property and the room was lovely although very cold even with the electric blanket supplied; rooms need heating especially during the colder seasons. WIFI connection was poor we had to call the in house engineer for assistance; food was mediocre with some questionable meat products, signage for dishes were all in thai which was problematic for foreign... I stayed on dec 25 for 1 nt. Pros - very nice property with buglow type decor in d middle of nature. Cons - pathetic front desk with no training. we reached there at around 1.30 pm (check in time 2 pm). After check in formalities we were blatantly told to come after few hours as "room is yet to... My Thai wife and I drove to Angkhang en route from Mae Sai in the far north to our home in Nonthaburi. It was quite an adventurous drive, to say the least, as the gradients put our 1.5 liter Toyota Avanza to a severe test! Finding the resort was no problem using our GPS. We were quickly taken to our... More

The place is very nice, the wooden bungalows are displaced in a beautiful garden. Very quite and one can appreciate the silence, only frogs and birds singing. The rooms are a bit old fashioned but very big and with all you need. Bed heating for cold night available. Wi-fi is not always working. We had a very good and generous... More

We have a friend who has been raving about this resort to us. It took us over a year before we could actually make the trip there. We called the General Manager and he kindly made the booking for us. We went there with some friends and stayed in cottages with a garden view. It was a wonderful experience. We... More

Stayed in the resort for 3 nights. This is a re-visit after some 20 years. The resort has undergone quite some renovation since then and the rooms are as good as ever. We requested for a quiet rome but at the same time close to the main building so that we can have food within a short walking distance. Our... More
