greeted warmly by the owner and his wife, we paid a nice low price. It has free wifi and is in a great location next to a night market and muay thai boxing ring (finished early enough to not bother you noise-wise though) it has clean showers and a tree house, great central location and close to tours and tuk... Best guesthouse BY FAR during our stay in Thailand. Amazing rooms, super clean, best and most helpful staff and close to everything. I am a hostel/guesthouse regular and recommend Central over all that Thailand has to offer. Great English speaking and very helpful! Definitely a must stay!

Hugo & his wife run a clean and friendly guesthouse in a great location. It's a close walk to markets, the night bazaar & Tha Pae gate. We stayed here for a week during Songkran & had a fabulous time! The owners and all of their staff are so friendly, it's a great spot to come "home" to after a... More

Stayed here for a few nights after staying in an overpriced hotel, we wanted somewhere perfectly located near the thapae gate which it was.. The private room we had was very basic but did the job, a bunk bed with enough space to chuck our bags, as long as the room was clean we didn't mind on the size. Shared... More

Cute little place run by an awesome guy named Hugo and his lovely wife. It is indeed super central, right by the night market! Hugo will do everything to make sure you have a good time. His staff are so helpful and accomodating. The rooms are cleaned daily if you want. They might not be luxurious, but perfect for those... More

Over 4 months and 40 plus hotels this was only the second time we felt so uncomfortable we wanted to leave, and if we hadn't already paid up front we would have. We stayed 4 nights in a double room, which was cramped, dirty, and noisy from the busy street outside and other guests slamming doors. But what made our... More

Hello, it is a very unusual description of our hotel that I am reading in your review. I feel sorry that you didn't feel comfortable in our place and sorry that I didn't notice that you were not enjoying your stay. It also true that the week you arrived we had problem with the cleaner that didn't showed up at... More

The Guesthouse is ideally located right in the centre of the city and the staff helped us plan our days. I would recommend Central Guesthouse... More

We booked a family room which had 2 separate rooms and a bathroom: a queen and bunk beds. The size was good. The walls are quite dirty as was the toilet. I know it's a guesthouse but these things are easily done. Great location and friendly owner.
