Set on a quiet road in the south-west part of the old town, within 10 minutes walk of all the major attractions. We initially had rooms on the ground floor and luckily managed to change to usptairs - make sure you book upstairs! Ground floor rooms are smelly, dingy and dark. So our new room was spacious, clean, light with... More

We were very happy with Jangmuang Boutique House. We stayed in 2 rooms, and both were large and decorated beautifully with lots of wood, Thai textiles and other art. The upstairs room (billed as being for 4 people) has 2 beds in 1 large room, plus a kitchen area with fridge, a large, attractive bathroom and a big balcony with... More

Stayed for 5 nights here after 3 nights in Bangkok. We had 2 rooms: 301 and 401. Both were lovely; 401 has a balcony. It was clean and beautiful, with air conditioning or screened windows to let in a breeze. Only complaint? The bed in 401 is hard as a rock! They could also use some bedside reading lamps. But... I was given one of the standard rooms downstairs and it was dark with unpleasant water noises from above and other noises from the street. However, the real problem was the lack of cleanliness. The bedsheets looked like they had not been changed and as I looked more closely, I found a couple of hair in the bed and the... More

Jangmuang is a very good option in its price range. Location is good, rooms are spacious, clean and atmospecic and the people who run the place are very friendly. Don't miss Goodmorning Chiang Mai at the end of the street for breakfast, lunch or a good coffee. Don't mistake the place with Jang Muang Gallery, this is another guesthouse.

I stayed there for three nights in 2-bedroom suite on the second floor. The balcony is large with table and chairs and facing a temple. The room and bathroom are spacious with special design almost anywhere. Rooms are cleaned everyday in a careful manner. The hotel is in the southern part of Old City and very close to Sunday Night... We had eight nights here. In a pretty central location in the old city, but on a quiet side street. Could easily walk to both Sat and Sun walking markets. Only about six rooms and our room was wonderfully large, beautifully decorated and with a separate eating/sitting area. Service from the ladies here was wonderful with big welcoming smiles and... We stayed in Chang Mai for 5 days. This little hotel was everything we could ask for. The room and bathroom were large. The decor and amenities were great. The breakfast offered every morning outside was exceptional and a great way to start the day. Also, the location is in the old town and walkable to almost everything. The staff... More

We found the Jangmuang Boutique House after checking out of a guest house around the corner. The hotel is small, on a side street, with only 7 rooms. The room was large with a very modern bathroom. The air conditioner worked well, which is vital as it is quite hot in Chiang Mai. There is a free wi-fi, but there... More

very good place to stay, only 7 rooms with characteristic deco of Thai style, and a fine gallary next to the rooms, in between you would find a beautiful yard with full of sunshine, wonderful place to meet with friends, will recommend for others for sure
