We stayed in this hotel during a break to experience the Loy Krathong /Yee Ping festival. The hotel is small in a quiet part of the old town, but only a 5 to 10 minute walk to Tha Pae Gate and the main shopping area.As you leave the hotel, turn right and turn right again to walk towards the moat... The room is very clean and spacious! Decoration is super Thai! Location is quite close to downtown. You can either take a walk about 10mins or ride bike.We had great time staying there! Hotel can also help arrange Thai spa booking

We enjoyed our stay at Jangmuang. It is located on a quiet side street, so noise is not an issue in busy Chiang Mai. The Saturday Market is well within walking distance. We took a tuk-tuk to the Sunday Market, so I'm not sure how far it was on foot. The guest house is filled with unique art so there... More

We only spent one night in the Jangmuang Boutique House but we were very impressed with this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel is well-kept, the decor is artsy and quirky and the rooms are lovely. We stayed in the suite on the fourth floor which has a little balcony offering a nice view of the temple... More

We spent three nights of our honeymoon there and loved the place. We stayed in the room with the bed with the very unusual headboard…. five large wooden carvings of penises! We got a big kick out of it and also enjoyed the artwork in the hotel and room. The mugs and saucers in the room were handmade, which we... More

I staid in the Jangmuang Boutique House with my wife for two nights while traveling through SE Asia. We wanted to have a decent and central stay and that is exactly what we got. I don't think it is the prettiest guest house that we have encountered in the region but it was definitely a nice place to stay.

Located off the busy area, its wooden build is charming and welcoming. Plenty of nooks to sit, rest and enjoy the slower pace. Room is clean, bed is comfortable, bathroom is spacious with plenty of clean towels. We took the quad room and it was perfect for 4 adults except that with only one bathroom and one toilet both featuring... More

My wife and I stayed over at Jangmuang Hotel and we are very glad of that. Room was very good, clean and big (I suggest taking one at the upper floor though). Hotel is well located also and staff is friendly and speak enough English. Perhaps would like to have more variety in the breakfast. We recommend it.

We only moved to because the previous hotel was running out of room on our last day and stayed here for one night. It was a charming place. The overall deco of the hotel was quite unique. The room was not very spacious but it was already good enough for this price and it was indeed neat and clean and... More
