Such a special place! We spent a full week in Villa 3, enjoying the peace and quiet yet very central location. Became friends with two cats who live there. All four villas are 70-year old traditional wooden houses on stilts; Villa 3's ground floor is your outdoor living room with comfortable seats and lounge table, as well as a small... More

We stayed for 3 nights and loved it! This was the perfect place for a home-away-from-home while we explored Chiang Mai. The rooms are lovely and unique, each their own house in traditional thai style (bedroom and living area up on stilts with kitchen and sitting area below). Bathroom and bedroom were clean, cozy and decorated very nicely. Kitchen was... More

Friends and I stayed in Summer Resort for 3 nights in Jan 2015. We had very nice stay and the host was wonderful. He always gave us helpful information and tried his best to assist us to enjoy the best of Chiang Mai. The resort is close to south gate, which is near the Saturday Night Market. And there are... Chiang Mai Summer Resort is a small ensemble of 4 lovely thai style bungalows. You'll be living upstairs with some public space downstairs. King size bed, fan, air conditioning, flatscreen tv, a microwave and fridge are within you living area. The chinese (!) owner is very kind and helpful in every way (thanks again for the medicine and laundry service).... More

A wonderfully clean guesthouse with a rustic feel but first class facilities. The whole compound permeates a peaceful haven and the large, tastefully designed villas provide a truly intimate personal space. All of the comforts you want are there but with a twist from the plasticized hotel world. The bedroom is a little cramped and darkish, but that is purposely... More

We stayed at Chiang Mai Summer Resort for 3 nights in November 2012 during Loi Krathong. Our hosts met us at the door and showed us to our room quickly as we had a private car waiting to take us around Chiang Mai's sites. When we got back we had a chance to spend a bit of time with our... More

I stayed at shangri la and sheik istana hotel before staying here for 1 night only, the personal experience I had here definitely added so much to my chiangmai trip. My chiangmai trip wouldn't be so special without staying there. I love my experience with them because - 1 the owners are just amazing and incredibly helpful! 2 the alternative... More

Having stayed in Chiang Mai many times I wanted to try somewhere different from where I normally stay and picked this place due to its location in the centre of Chiang mai, found it a little difficult to find when we arrived as there was no sign outside and its behind wall with closed doors but a quick call and... We stayed here for 3 nights during the first week in Oct, with our 3-yr-old daughter. The Thai villa and the small yard are beautiful, and also the owner is nice. Sitting among the green plants at a summer night, with a full moon above, was unforgetable. The location is great - away from the tourist yet easy to access... More

We stayed at Chiang Mai Summer Resort for 2 nights, a lovely small place with only 4 authentic refurbished Thai wooden houses with all modern amenities, tastefully decorated and perfectly maintained by the owner, a beautiful and warm Chinese couple. If you are interested, they may have a long story to tell regarding how and why they chose to settle... More
