Alex and his wife take great effort to help their guests. The rooms are a shade basic but that's matched by the price. There's a pleasant common area with a good pool table and well equipped weightlifting facility (for a fee). Non smoking throughout (great!) but permitted in the small front outdoor area.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Room, bed and ensuite bathroom is clean.. Good value for the price paid for some privacy. Good location. Situated in between Old City and Night Bazaar as well as markets - So all places are accessible by foot in ard 10-20mins. Aircon is strong for the weather. Only downside is the noise of traffic in... Has a gym, very clean rooms and an a great area downstairs to chill out. Rooms are cheap for Chang mai and is in a pretty good location just off the road of where many of the main bars are. Enjoyed our stay here, especially compared to some of the other guest houses around Chang mai.

Cumpun is the best place to stay in Chiang Mai. The staff are friendly and helpful and the guest house has a good vibe, gym and nice rooms. We have stayed in other places in the area but this beats them.

We stayed at Cumpun guest house for 3 nights. The owner was very nice for us and helped us arrange a trip to the jungle and a tuk tuk ride to the airport. He makes very nice Belgian waffles. The rooms are ok, quite basic but for such a low price they're totally worth it. The air conditioning and wifi... More

We stayed for four nights in the Cumpun guesthouse, in a double room with AC and en suite. The price was very good, 300baht per night! Alexis, the owner, and his girlfriend, were both very friendly and helpful. Location: In my view this guesthouse is perfectly located, it's halfway between the Old CIty and the night bazaar. Both are a... More

Thanks a lot for your review. We're always pleased to hear that our guests enjoyed their stay. We just would like to mention for our readers that it's only 10 Baht for a cup of coffee and 100 Baht to use the gym (soon there will be the possibility to follow an exclusive fitness bootcamp too). Anyway, thanks again for... More

We stayed at Cumpun Guesthouse for five nights in April 2014. The cheapest private room (cheaper than dorm beds in many places) with AC that we have booked in 16 months of travelling. Definitely not a luxury hotel, the room was large and very basic but clean and absolutely perfect for our needs. It was 42C while we were in... More

Me and my friend recently stayed at Cumpun Guest House in a double room with a fan. It was basically everything you really need; a decent bed, toilet, shower. Perfect location, only a small walk to the city centre and good value for money. The owner was extremely helpful and kind with helping us find locations or suggesting certain things/places.... More
