Has everything you need. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable. Host was nice, cheap rates. Australian and Thai owners. Nice couple. They gave us free water upon arrival. There is a nice bar just across the road with live music (only on Friday nights) so it can get a bit noisy but they stop at around 11pm so... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Dixie Pig. It has everything you need for budget travel: - Excellent location - hot and powerful shower - comfy bed - helpful and friendly staff - good wifi - good laundry service We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Chiang Mai.

Dixie Pig Guesthuuse located in a cozy little soi in the center of Chiang Mai. Not great luxury but clean and neat. Good breakfast, nice staf. Very reasonable prices. Across the street is a small cafe / bar "Maiphai" also a cozy place. Well worth a visit.

We stayed here for a few night, reasonably priced, clean & friendly! Owner very good at helping us search & book things to do :) & each morning we had an amazing bacon sandwich (almost as good as my own). Oh & good central location!

I enjoyed visiting again. Its close to the centre of the city, the food is good and the rooms spacious. Cleaning is done daily and the staff are helpful and ready to help when you have questions or requirements.

A nice and friendly place to stay but it does need some attention. TV broken, holes in mosquito netting, peeling paint, dirty curtains & walls, old furniture lying around, not well looked after, that's a pity.

This guest house is clean and welcoming. I stayed in a double room alone for the cost of 300baht a night. The shower was powerful and hot and the owners are very helpful. They even let me keep the room till 6pm free of charge on my last day due to it been low season. Very kind gesture. Would recommend... More

I stayed in room 8 on the 2nd floor. The room was clean, AC worked, hot water worked, TV was small but worked. I paid 400 baht per night. Plumbing is little wonky, sink drains onto the bathroom floor, then goes down the drain. Breakfast was 75 baht for 2 eggs, nice bacon, potatoes, toast, butter and jam. Service was... More

I'll preface my review by saying that Buddy, the current owner mentioned in most of the glowing reviews, has sold the Dixie Pig and is moving onto other things. That said, I'm sure the new owner (who we met and who seems friendly) will want to maintain the hostel's existing goodwill and reputation, so I'd still recommend checking out the... More
