Due to a scheduling error on our part, we arrived in Chiang Mai a day too early for our reservation at a different spa resort, and they didn't have a room available for us. Thanks to the helpful receptionist, the Mountain Resort was able to accommodate us for the night. They even sent a driver to pick us up, and... More

We rented two rooms for a business trip and brought the family. This is one of the worst places we ever stayed. The list of problems that staff were very unhelpful to fix and basically admitted they just couldn't fix and didn't care so tough for us. No hot water Mold in the ice tray of fridge that didn't work... More

Stayed here for one night in May. Were upgraded to a deluxe room which was lovely. No hot water but this was quickly fixed. Dilapidated gym and pool was dirty. Staff were helpful. Very far out of chiang mai with no shops or restaurants close by. Also in bad weather the hotel gets very dirty due to its open plan... More

Arrived on New Years Eve to a very loud band outside in the cold. Everyone was freezing & wrapped in blankets. Food cold & inedible. Had to go to room because of noise. Toilet overflowed & staff blamed me & said I overloaded the toilet (which I did not). They plunged toilet but did not mop the floor. So floor... More

This hotel doesn't really live up to it's name. Let me list down some of our disappointments: noisy airconditioner and mini bar in the room, no hot water in the shower, paint and finishes are tatty, the location of this hotel is too far out from the centre and therefore you need to catch a taxi for all your travelling... Of course the pics make it look good, it was needing of a little sprucing up, it is also very isolated and no nearby shops/restaurants so you are captive to their not so good inhouse dining, who didn't even offer a wine list. Last day when a French couple pushed it, one was produced. My other issue is the advertised... More

First impressions were very good, beautiful place and nice rooms and bathrooms and the pool is a lovely place to relax and swim. However, it has a few problems that seemed to become more prominent the longer we stayed. It's really set away from any other places of use, no restaurants or bars or shops nearby, So you have to... We stayed at a hotel right in the centre of the night market a day earlier, making this hotel a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai. The reception staff were excel, want. Although my room was fabulous - opens directly to the well designed swimming pool -, it was uncomfortable hauling my luggage back to the reception... More

If you got a great price like we did, then you will get good value for your money. If you have a car, you won't feel trapped. if you need quiet isolation with mediocre food to write your great novel, this is your place. No shuttle except to the airport, so if you plan to be in town or want... More

Impressively large room and bathroom, very quiet and relaxing at first, good swimming pool and calming grounds. That is the only good things I can say. We stayed three days and two nights, it was lucky we had a van to travel in a it is quite a way from anything in Chiang Mai. The bathroom had a foul odour... More
