The hotel looks good, however it is quite bad located. The service is aweful, they are blackmailing taxi drivers to drive tourists downtown Chiangmai. The restaurant food was good, although waiters are beginners and served us one at a time : we didn't eat together due to this lack of professionalism.

Near a high Road, it is impossible to sleep. And you can hear all your neighbours... For your continental breakfast, you ve got choice between cold eggs, 2 kind of fruits and bakery when the tray is not empty. We were missing our luggage, they were unable to transfer them from the airport. Finally when you take a shower, you... More

We enjoyed the Moroccan themes of rooms and surroundings - beautifully decorated. Excellent fitness center and beautiful pool. Good breakfasts. Not exactly quiet due to roosters in the morning and some road noise in front of hotel and construction across the river, but ok. Access to old city is easy; be sure to take a tuk-tuk back.

At the time of booking this property was #35 of hotels in Chiang Mai. We booked. Room was reasonable priced around $70 usd per night. for a supposed 4 star. Hotel is okay. a bit run down, could use fresh paint & upkeep. room was nice boutique style room. Staff was nice at first. Joey was a great tour guide,... More

If you wish to be in the centre of Chiang Mai, than this hotel is not for you. But if you would like to try a peaceful riverside hotel with Moroccan decoration then this would be a good choice. The staff very friendly, rooms are large, well decorated and clean, and the bed very comfortable. Very nice riverside garded and... More

The views, the style of the hotel and the service are the main attractions. Staff was very helpful in solving some minor problems promptly. Thus enhancing our stay. The maroccan style of the hotel is a fresh breathe of inspiration, especially when walking through the river-gardens.

I've not stayed at the hotel but have eaten at the Marrakech Restaurant several times. The Hotel Grounds are very impressive & beautiful. The Merrakech features Moroccan, Thai & International cuisine. Their Moroccan cuisine is not to be missed. I must add, that along with excellent food, their service is above & beyond. An outdoor setting gives a great view... More

Spent 6 nights (low season) at this hotel with my mom and we are so pleased with its environment and services. Accessibility: located near the Ping River bank, 10-min from downtown. Not a very convenient location but a quiet place to stay. Free one way shuttle bus everyday to Warorot Market, Thapae Gate (Downtown) and Night Baazar (weekdays)/ Sun&Sat walking... More

Stunning tropical garden leading to a large salt water swimming pool next to a huge free gym for guests. Added bonus of a Massage centre and a free shuttle to the Night Market, however you need to get back on your own , do take a map for the Taxi. The rooms and decor are impressive , and for the...
