stayed here for 3 nights of our month-long Thailand holiday and wished we could have stayed longer! Loved Everything about this place...including the people running it. They were so helpful and friendly. They cooked awesome breakfasts here {so take the breakfast included option if you have a choice}. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with the little kitchenette and sitting... More

Here for new years so was perfect location for everything that was going on on NYE. Nice, friendly staff, nice breakfast and clean rooms. Although free daily water was given in a glass bottle which we thought was unpractical because we couldnt take them out of the hotel with us and even more so my boyfriend dropped it on the... More

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Nong and others on reception were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is included. There's a lot going on in this and lanes nearby so you can keep out of the busyness of the main streets if you want to take a break. Lots of great sights... More

Stayed here a couple of years ago, it was good then and still is. Situation is just inside the old city but within reach of all that matters. The bedroom has had a safe added since my last trip, it's a good size with a small balcony and a decent bathroom. Breakfast is basic but good, and quick, eggs any... More

Good location near Thapae gate. Clean. Great breakfast. Restaurants around are nice. However, when we ask for additional drinking water (they originally provide 2 free bottles but Thai is hot), they ask for money. When I ask them helping me to call our reserved drive, they ask for money for calling. And when every time I come back with some... More

This was our 1st stop in Chiang Mai which is in the old city in a narrow lane near Thapae gate. We had a room on 2nd floor with little balcony but the view was of dirty backyards with many roosters to wake you early and lots of other noises.Room was clean, bed huge & comfy and bathroom adequate. Breakfast... More

the location is near the city gate, but very quiet. also there are a lot of restraunts around. the only negtive thing is the owner advised some massage or tuk tuk which is a little bit expensive than others. I stay here 1 night and this is very recommended if it is the last day of your trip at there.... More

For the money this is a very nice hotel. Its never going to be the best but you get a big clean room, comfy bed, en suit bathroom with good shower, TV, balcony, air con, safe and a breakfast. All for not much money at all The staff are friendly and helpful. More than anything it is a 2 minute... More

My girlfriend and I booked 4 nights at the TJR boutique house in February based on positive reviews. We ended up leaving after the first night because the hotel was not at all up to our expectations. The good: -Great location in a quiet central location. -Breakfast was pretty good. -Spacious Room. -Room was clean. -Tour information. The Bad: -No... More
