I have always tried to book Ibis Styles as my first choice of hotel because of its great location and comfortable rooms. It's not far to Maya Shopping Centre, Nimmanhaemin Road and Doi Suthep. Song taews and tuk tuks are available just by the side of the hotel to bring you anywhere you want. I have stayed in all three... More

On my work trip to Chiang Mai, I often choose to stay at Ibis Styles Hotel. Initially, I choose this place because it is situated near my workplace and its location is easy to access to facilities like public transportation, food shops and convenient store. But the more I stay with them, the more I find its good points. I... More

We booked 2 rooms (4 adults) for 3 nights. The rooms were small particularly the standard twin room which is right next to the cleaner's store room. One of the receptionist's (Ice) attitude was unhelpful to say the least and down right rude at other times. The air-condition in one of the rooms were not working properly and the receptionist... We were booked into this hotel for our Absolute Fitness Bootcamp. Our first room was a standard room. It had lots of closet space and was nicely furnished but it over looked the main road and was very noisy at night and we didn't get any sleep for two nights with roaring motorbikes, never ending traffic and airplanes. We asked... More

The Ibis Style hotel is located at a major road junction on Huay Kaew Rd which runs from the north west corner of the moat up to Chiang Mai University. The main junction before the University is where the hotel is and that is one main road junction beyond the big Maya shopping mall. The hotel has two wings the... More

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The room was really clean every corner and everything was very new. It's located a little bit far from the old city so you will need to take taxis to go there but it's not that far from the new city center. The breakfast was a little bit disappointing but was ok. They... More

Was upgraded to a deluxe room and was very happy with it. Amazing amount of closet space,as well as large refrigerator/freezer and microwave. Good sized flat screen and nice bathroom. A 14-minute walk to Nimmanhaemin Road. If you only know the Old City in Chiang Mai, you definitely need to come stay up here to get a feel for a... More

Spent one night in two connecting rooms for a short transit trip from Chiang Rai as kids wanna visit Night Safari. The OK hotel with reasonable price (therefore don't expect much). Location is in a short drive to Nimman and not too far from Maya department store (may not too convenient if you don't have car). Rooms were a bit... More

We had booked 3 family rooms a month before arriving, but due to bad traffic, we reached at hotel in the evening. We were pleasantly surprised that the keys to the rooms were all arranged for us. Although the swimming pool is small, our children enjoyed playing in the pool. As with most Ibis, this no frills hotel is really... More

If you aren't visiting Chiang Mai for the first time, I don't think the hotel location would be an issue. It is located outside the Old Town. Check was fine and smooth, room was ok, breakfast was not bad, staff were friendly. If there was a minor issue would be the smell inside the male public toilet in the lobby... More
