t alshen you walkthrough the doors and look around it seems relatively promising, u til you start speaking to the staff who are as useful as a hole in the head and are always busy on Facebook or talking to another colleague. WiFi is limited to the entrance and the room consists of smelling of damp and drains. It also appears... More

We unfortunately stayed here for 3 nights after being booked into it by a travel agent in Bangkok. Receptionists not very helpful and never have change of notes etc. The rooms were not exactly welcoming with concrete flooring, horrible thin sheets on the bed and a dark curtain. The first time I tried to open the curtain the curtain pole... More

Paradise is more like a prison than a paradise , both from outside and inside. I have made a last minute booking right before New Year 's Eve and unfortunately it was one of the few hotels in Chiang Mai which had still rooms available. Reception and lobby reminds building materials warehouse. The décor of the lobby very primitive, outright... More

we got this hotel as a flight and hotel package as the package of two costs less than the flight itself (5300 RMB vs. 6400 RMB from Shanghai), so we actually skipped the hotel for two nights and stayed very close to the old city (top garden). we moved here the last evening since we could not secure another night... Basic hotel, agree with previous comments, but at least it's clean and some 15 minutes walking distance from night bazaar... staff is friendly, pool useless, dogs still around, nothing much changed! If you're not too demanding it might be a good choice. But, I arrived from a 9 days trip to Myanmar and this hotel looks like a Sheraton after... More

Very similar to the review previous, was booked in here when in bangkok by a tourist guide, and didn't have chance to review it. The rooms were very basic with nowhere to put your stuff, there were indeed ants all over the floor, and depending on what room you were on the wifi didn't work….ours didn't. Some of the staff... The other reviews are accurate - the floor in the rooms are concrete, there is no where to unpack your clothes, and there are ants and mosquitos. It's about a brisk 20 min walk to chiang mai city. We were booked in there by the tourist information centre in bangkok, and without Internet at the time, we were unable to... More

Pros: - clean room and restocked everyday (bottled water, clean towel, toilet paper, soap) - nice lobby with free wifi - did sort out some of our activities which we already knew the price of (stuff with a set price like our cooking class) Cons: - the worst breakfast I've ever had, my boiled eggs were rotten when I cracked... Positives: - they make the bed and give you a new towel everyday. -They clean the bathroom and wipe up all the water that is on the floor every day -Staff is generally accommodating Negatives: - The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the night market and even further from the old city. It is really out of... More
