My friends and I spent 2 nights in Chiang Mai last summer and we stayed in LiLu hotel as a recommendation from a friend. I am actually quite like it. The room maybe just a bit small and do not have elevator but it's ok, just 3 floors in total, bathroom was nice. What I impressed the most was the... More

For 800baht roughly 32 Australian dollars a night which also included breakfast, which was basic but a good way to start your day, cereals, toast, eggs and some other hot options, tea, coffee etc. the hotel also provided free bottled water and tea, coffee facilities. The location was great, 2 minute walk from night bazaar (market that's on every night... More

I liked our stay here. Room is small, but comfortable. Very nice bathroom. Good wifi. Very close to the Night Bazaar, and not far to the big temples and the modern art museum. Staff is not very knowledgeable. There is a 7 11 right next to the hotel, and a few tuk tuk drivers. I recommend a tuk tuk driver... More

We ended up staying at Lilu Hotel for 2 nights after our original hotel wasn't as described. We walked up and asked the hotel for a price to stay the night, and were told it was cheaper to book online through Expedia and that we would have to do it that way. After finding out that they didn't have any... More

When i walked in, i can imagine how nice the place must be when they were newly opened. Unfortunately time has passed, and they did not maintain the place properly. Paint job and all furniture just looked worn. The breakfast was ok for me and i love the congee option! The staff spoke little english. They claimed they did but... More

This hotel was the low point of our Thailand trip. We accidently booked it thinking our friends had stayed. The value is great - only $20-$30/night which is great, even for Thailand. The room was clean and had its own bathroom. The hotel provided free wifi, clean water, and breakfast buffet so it was all solid. But the buffet was... More

Clean room and toilet, near night bazaar, the breakfast was OK. Cheap, we booked one night, but we stayed 3. Maybe a little noise in the night, we heard people keep walking in front of our room. Will return.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for four days, three nights. The room is nicely decorated but there were a lot of mosquitoes all of the time. They don't give you free water like in most other hotels we have stayed at but there is a 7/11 right next door so no problem. The location is super nice, which I... More
