Well where to start. We ended up here as part of a Tuk Tuk scam in Bangkok, luckily it wasn't for a lot of money. Most of the reviews mention a Tuk Tuk scam, so a guesthouse which income is ran by a scam, should set your alarm bells ringing. We booked 5 nights at a hotel (Which actually, was... More

If I could give Family Tribal -5 stars I would. I'd like to start out by saying that this review is for a standard room/fan only. It was on the 3rd floor in the front of the building. This room at this hostel was automatically set up for my boyfriend and I through the tour booking agent we used in... More

We absolutely regreted doing this trek. The brochure says an hour elephant ride (reality, 20 min.), a 1.3 hour rafting adventure (reality, 45 min.), full meals ( reality, you will only be full at dinner and breakfast is only cold white bread\toast), and all kinds of jungle trekking (much of our time was spent walking along roads, dirt and paved).... Arrived off the night bus at 0545 and had to wait outside the reception for an hour and 15 minutes, maybe could have been avoided if we were told when we booked? The lady owner (could not remember her name) was extremely apologetic and friendly. The room we got was very spacious and clean. The bathroom had a good layout... More

We got this hotel through a travel agency. Having read the previous reviews afterwards had us dreading for staying there. But we must say we were very surprised. The room was nice and spacious and the staff helped us getting to and from the trainstation (free of charge). And staying in the old city gives it a less touristy impression... More

We choose this guesthouse beacuse it was the cheapest and not far from night market. Even taxi driver at the airport didn't know this guesthouse and took little time to find. Yes as everyone said service could have been better, but its ok, if you ask, they answer. The room is not super beautiful, but acceptable.

we had a tourist scam with the tuk tuk in Bangkok. That is how we got this hotel. The rooms are smelly. And we booked the elephant trekking with them and they already wanted to sell us more stuff all the time. And are really pushy about it. And they acted nice but they are not very nice. fake money... Stayed here for 4 nights in October 2011. Was booked for us through a travel agency so we had no idea what we were expecting. We had an enjoyable stay. The room was very hot so we did have to pay for aircon which was an extra 250B a night. The rooms are very clean and airy however they are... More

No where to hang anything so I bought in the outside airer. Place needed a good scrub, from our room to the stairs. I wore thongs in the shower! As we were in the guest house we were not expecting daily service. No fridge available. No television in the room. We did have air conditioning. Day of arrival wanting to... More
