The hotel is nicely located, the staff is friendly and the rooms are good (if you don't stay on a room near the Main Street). The breakfast is ok. I would consider this an upper 3 stars hotel on European standards. It's a good option to stay on Chiang Mai.

This hotel is ideally located as a base for tourism activities but also provides a quiet relaxing atmosphere after you are done being a tourist. Great Breakfast! The playful cats in the lobby are just as friendly as the staff! There is also a reading area to relax in outside of your room. The pool is smaller, which could be... More

Just returned from 10 days at this beautiful hotel. Yes we have returned here twice now and yes it's so nice to be remembered. The cleanliness of this hotel is wonderful. If only I could have one of those beautiful people cleaning my home. Yes the bed is very firm but show me a bed in Thailand that isn't. I... More

Booked it based on great reviews.I am shocked that many people loved it.Rooms are okay, large and nice bathroom .Some nice artwork. The beds were extremely hard and very uncomfortable. Hotel itself has odd layout.Pool in the middle looked okay on last day as the sun came out. Entrance to hotel needs improving, they have large sitting area in center of property... More

Likes: - nice room, newly furnished, and fresh fruits - located in the old city. Walking distance to lots of sights, shops, food, massage places. Ok: - Breakfast buffet: okay food. Good start for a day but not particularly good Dislikes: - the design (or lack of) is totally random and makes no sense - cats everywhere

This hotel is well-placed in downtown Chiang Mai to explore the town and its surroundings. The staff were very helpful indeed and the room was excellent. There is a small pool in the courtyard which was useful for relaxing if required. The restaurant served good Thai food and on one night a duo played a selection of western songs. We... More

Inside the square, moern hotel with cold swimming pool, luxurious rooms, good food and friendly staff. This is the perfect place as a base to visit Chiang Mai and surrounding area with good air con to cool off in the afternoon and lots of space to chill out. Could not find better than this. Great breakfasts and dinner, reasonably priced.

We stayed here for four nights while in Chiang Mai. It was a very last minute booking which cost us a bit extra than we planned to spend but it didnt disappoint. The hotel grounds is gorgeous, offering pool access and even free computer access in the large seating area. Our room was very spacious, and there is a large... More

We stayed at the Kodchasri for three nights during May 2014. As a group of 12 (6 couples) travelling through Thailand we considered the Kodchasri offered more than we could have expected. We found the service of all staff from the booking made direct with the hotel, through to the pick up at the airport, to our final goodbyes to... More
