I stayed 8 nights at this charming hotel without knowing anything about Chiang Mai or Thailand and I must say that my first impression of the country was very good. First, the hotel its not too much but still very very charming. They pay attention om the gardening, relaxing music and the smells! Its a historical building with a temple... More

Great location very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely rooms very clean and everything you need. As most Thai boutique hotels a bit quirky. Nice clean pool and small gym. Breakfast nice and adequate. Altogether pleasant. A good 4 star. It is well situated and easy to get your bearings. Internet drops out a bit but staff are obliging and will... More

Stayed during the Yi Peng Festival of lights (Nov 2015). Me and my girlfriend enjoyed our time here very much. Pros: the hotel is nicely designed, good room interior, nice breakfast options, cozy outdoor pool, quiet atmosphere. Relatively convenient location in the old city Refillable fruit basket in the room. Offered free beautiful water lanterns to all hotel guests. And... More

We spent 4 days in Chiang Mai (my tip is to go there around November 25th for the Loi Krathon festival) and we stayed at this hotel. Very nice selection of breakfast items and you can have them the pool. This hotel has a zen character, very quiet and well maintained. Rooms are nice and service is very good. The... More

Boutique hotel in a great location inside the city gate. Easy to get to everything, especially if you rent a motorbike. Quiet. Beautiful pool where you can relax. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Very nice and comfortable room (#3202). Breakfast was huge. Only thing I didn't like was the ants -- in the bed and on the breakfast tables.... More

Stayed there for 5 nights during the Loi Krathong festival. Originally wanted to find a place close to the Tha Phae gate for all the actions, but turns out staying a bit away from the crowd is nice (about 15 minutes walk to the Tha Phae gate). This hotel is closer to the Chiang Mai Gate, where there are food... More

We visited several cities on our trip to Thailand and this hotel was the best one we stayed at during our entire trip. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. The rooms were clean and elegant with an old charm to them. The pool grounds are well kept and clean. They sent us complimentary tea to... More

We arrived at this hotel in early evening. On arrival it looked good. We were offered a delicious welcome drink. The staff on check in was not too welcoming or smiling. No one offered to help us with our bags, we were taken to our room. A tiny room on the first floor. By the time the lady who showed... More

The hotel offers relaxing atmosphere, delicious food and friendly helps to the visitors. It is a hidden oasis in the old town center as all the attractions are just 10 to 30 minutes walk. The only major issue is the little black ants climbing on my bed. If they can fix it, then I will give a full mark to... More

The Kodchasri Thani is an elegant boutique hotel located in the heart of Chaing Mai. My family enjoyed a relaxing holiday. There are quiet nooks through out the hotel to enjoy. I personally enjoyed a glass of wine and the amazing nuts at the end of my day discussing The days adventures. The rooms were clean, elegant, and private. The... More
