Nice hotel just outside old town, walking distance. It's close to many shops and markets. The great thing about this hotel was that it's located on a very quiet street. We didn't hear any outside noise when trying to sleep. The hotel has an open floorplan, which allows for a large number of bugs. However, bugs are expected in Thailand.... More

We loved De Chai as the bed was so comfy compared to the last place we stayed! Room was a large size and having bottles of water each day is nice. The staff were friendly and helped us by calling, booking and rescheduling tours that we wanted to do. The location was the best for us, right next to the... More

It's on a quiet side road with a 10 minute walk to the night bazaar (walk towards the Le Meridian hotel tower). There is a rotee stand on the intersection with the main road where you can enjoy the savoury banana waffle snack late into the night. The saturday night market is much bigger than the daily night bazaar and... More

Absolutely stunning and comfort-driven rooms, pool is small and out of the sun but very refreshingly cold, FANTASTIC location right by Tha Pae gate and lots of good options (walking street, bars, food options, coffee places) in walking distance. Shower water was never hot, something that I never had a problem with but family visiting were pretty annoyed with. Mosquitoes... More

After reading the reviews from the past few days, I can't really add anything new, so I'll just reiterate a couple of bullet points here: * FREEZING pool - so much so that even in the hot weather, we couldn't use it. * The maids left the door to our room open when they cleaned, and we think they also... It's sometimes hard to explain why you don't gel with.a Hotel. On the surface, this is a fresh, new hotel. The presentation is fine. Staff were very Ryan welcoming, attentive and helpful. The room was fine though very modern and trendy. It was 38 degrees and I was looking forward to a swim. The pool is semi indoor and no... More

Positives about hotel: * fantastic location * friendly, helpful staff (always happy) * nice breakfast buffet Negitives about hotel: * mozzies * undercover pool - water is freezing I would recommend staying here. Go grab a coffee from The Hideout and grab dinner at Kanjana.
