We booked this hotel because of the good recommendations on TripAdvisor. But we were disappointed. As we came into our room we noticed that the room was not clean. The floor, the frame of the bed an the closet were full of dust and black hairs (we're blonde). The window was dirty and the furniture was scratched up and had... More

The Bathroom was not cleaned properly I found a huge cockroach (the size of your index finger) in the tub on my last day Your feel like you are sleeping in the street. I was on the 2nd floor but would be woken up at night by every passing car or motorcycle. No sound insulation at all Good things about... More

We stayed here for about 5 nights in January and had a great time. The hotel is beautiful and is away from all the noise of the old city yet is a very short walk to get there. The staff is very nice, including a very sweet woman in the breakfast room who remembered every day what I ordered. It... More

this is a lovely hotel, not a resort hotel, with a convenient location, very nice staff, and a peaceful atmosphere. Our room was well thought out and unusual design, very comfortable bed, great tub and shower, clean and spacious enough with good storage. The breakfasts were good, especially the fluffy french toast and the fresh fruits. Good coffee. We also... More

We stayed in the De Chai Hotel in January 2015. While perusing Tripadvisor, we had chosen several activities that appealed to us in the region. On our first day, we had wanted to travel out to the Shinawatra Thai Silk factory. We asked the front desk to call us a taxi to take us there. At this time, the reception... More

The check in was a breeze, our room was set up for 3 people beforehand. It was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good also. When we checked out, we were told that laundry bag was missing. Having been staying at hundreds of hotels all over the world, this is the first time we were gonna be charged for a laundry... More

Excellent boutique hotel within a 5-10min walking distance to the old city. Quiet location as situated within the backstreets off the main road, however all taxi and tuk tuk drivers had no problem finding it when dropping us off at the hotel. Best to bring hotel location card supplied by the hotel in case you find a driver that doesn't... More

We stayed here over the new year period and were over impressed with the room size, views of Doi Suthep from our room and the comfort. They also gave Oreos, packet cake and water each day. Wifi worked fine until our last day when it was patchy however when you are away do you really go to surf the net?... More

Overall I was pleased with this hotel. Hotel is quite modern, with a boutique feel. The hotel breakfast is decent enough - consisting of cereals, fresh fruit, and hot plates. You can also request ready to order eggs, bacon, hash browns, omelettes which were excellent at no cost. Its located very close to the old town, just a 1 minute... More
