Nice hotel in a good location - walking distance to sights in central Chiang Mai. The rooms were large, bathrooms nicely done and the beds were comfortable. The pool was uninviting. I had booked a family room which was unavailable when we checked in in the evening and they gave us two rooms instead - it was okay but not... More

The hotel has everything a traveller needs, is in a quiet street walking distance from the main hustle and bustle and so has a great sense of peace about it. My room was spacious and well appointed, the staff were great and the restaurant was reasonable quality. I stayed 3 nights and would defiantly stay again.

This is a nice new mid to high range hotel. The location is perfect...an easy stroll to most restaurants, bars and attractions. The rooms are really nice with everything you might need. The staff are very warm, friendly and helpful. The breakfast and Spa were just ok. Wifi was a bit hit and miss. Overall i would recommend this hotel... More

It's all about the location. You are 100m walk from the main strip of bars, without being disturbed by noise. A few hundred metres in the other direction and you can do battle with the Selfie Stick wielding tourists at the gate on Moon Muang Rd. The hotel itself is modern and well furnished with plenty of friendly and helpful... More

This was a return visit as we stayed here last year and found it to be an excellent hotel in a terrific location. It sits just outside the Old City in a quiet lane off Tha Pae Road. The old city/The Pae Gate is just 5 minutes walk. The lovely Wat Mahawan is at the end of the lane with... More

Nice hotel just outside old town, walking distance. It's close to many shops and markets. The great thing about this hotel was that it's located on a very quiet street. We didn't hear any outside noise when trying to sleep. The hotel has an open floorplan, which allows for a large number of bugs. However, bugs are expected in Thailand.... More

We loved De Chai as the bed was so comfy compared to the last place we stayed! Room was a large size and having bottles of water each day is nice. The staff were friendly and helped us by calling, booking and rescheduling tours that we wanted to do. The location was the best for us, right next to the... More

It's on a quiet side road with a 10 minute walk to the night bazaar (walk towards the Le Meridian hotel tower). There is a rotee stand on the intersection with the main road where you can enjoy the savoury banana waffle snack late into the night. The saturday night market is much bigger than the daily night bazaar and... More

Absolutely stunning and comfort-driven rooms, pool is small and out of the sun but very refreshingly cold, FANTASTIC location right by Tha Pae gate and lots of good options (walking street, bars, food options, coffee places) in walking distance. Shower water was never hot, something that I never had a problem with but family visiting were pretty annoyed with. Mosquitoes... More
