We have just returned from a Thailand holiday were we stayed 3 nights at The Rim. We were upgrade on arrival to a huge room with the biggest bed I have ever slept in. The hotel and room were quirky with some really lovely features such as deep bath and separate huge walk in shower. Free shuttle to both night... More

The Rim is located at the Old Quarter, but not really close to most of the attractions in the city. Restaurants are available at walking distance, with good price and simple local food. Facilities are ok, clean and good, but do not expect charm. The building seems to be a little old (which might be interesting, but not as good... More

My husband and I recently stayed for five nights in Chiang Mai as a part of our honeymoon stay. The hotel itself is beautiful but the rooms, service and restaurant are far from four star and not worth the rate we paid per night. We had arranged a day trip prior to arrival only to find out that on check... More

I loved my stay here during Loy Kratong. CNX is magic in this special period! The Hotel is unique, made as a true old Lanna palace, the architect made a great work!!! Seems a real old palace, with stunning details. You will be welcomed very warmly from a very attentive staff who is helping you with joy and professionalism. From... More

My fiancé and I stayed at the Rim for six nights recently and would recommend it for those looking for a bit of subtle luxury without the price. The hotel is charming and clean, and the facilities and options are excellent. The staff do a brilliant job - we had a bit of an argument with a tour operator when... More

We are staying here at the moment. We have absolutely no complaints. Okay, the hotel is a little rugged around the edges but this only adds to the charm. The staff are all very pleasant, efficient and attentive. Breakfast is excellent, not a huge choice but certainly enough and to a very high standard. Everywhere is clean and well looked... More

located on the outer rim of the old town the hotel is close to many markets, temples, shops, restaurants and whatever. Take a tuk tuk for a cruise around old town and suck in the local atmosphere. The breakfast buffet offered cooked to order egg dishes and a nice variety of juices, breads, french toast, pancakes, yogurt, traditional Thais dishes,... More

This charming hotel is very close to the airport and within walking distance to the temples and markets. The Sunday walking street is very close, the Saturday walking street is a bit farther. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the night market and the walking streets. Tuk-tuks and taxis are also readily available for those who choose not to... More

The hotel has a very appealing Asian atmosphere with many beautiful huge solid wood columns and accents. It is well maintained and clean, although a bit of paint here and there could be splashed. it is located on the edge of old town and a fairly good walk to major shopping. A free shuttle is offered for the night market.... More
