The staff and service at the Rim were very helpful, lovely and its very good value for money, in a convenient location. Tuks tuks always outside and free shuttles available to get around easiliy. Rooms were a generous size and fitted the four of us (two kids 5 & 7 and two adults). Small intimate pool area is lovely with... More

Great hotel for the price, amenities and location! The staff was very pleasant and accommodating as well. I loved that it didn't feel corporate! I was a bit afraid that our room would not be quiet since athe hotel is situated along a busy road. But our room and poolside in the courtyard was quiet, relaxing and beautiful.

Very Colonial style hotel, not your standard Meridian or Hilton Stye very much Old Thailand Set back off the main road a few minutes out of downtown Chaing Mai but very near the airport. Distance from centre is not an issue, it can be walked of hire a bicycle for 50 baht & free shuttle to daily night market &... More

We have just returned from a Thailand holiday were we stayed 3 nights at The Rim. We were upgrade on arrival to a huge room with the biggest bed I have ever slept in. The hotel and room were quirky with some really lovely features such as deep bath and separate huge walk in shower. Free shuttle to both night... More

The Rim is located at the Old Quarter, but not really close to most of the attractions in the city. Restaurants are available at walking distance, with good price and simple local food. Facilities are ok, clean and good, but do not expect charm. The building seems to be a little old (which might be interesting, but not as good... More

My husband and I recently stayed for five nights in Chiang Mai as a part of our honeymoon stay. The hotel itself is beautiful but the rooms, service and restaurant are far from four star and not worth the rate we paid per night. We had arranged a day trip prior to arrival only to find out that on check... More

I loved my stay here during Loy Kratong. CNX is magic in this special period! The Hotel is unique, made as a true old Lanna palace, the architect made a great work!!! Seems a real old palace, with stunning details. You will be welcomed very warmly from a very attentive staff who is helping you with joy and professionalism. From... More

My fiancé and I stayed at the Rim for six nights recently and would recommend it for those looking for a bit of subtle luxury without the price. The hotel is charming and clean, and the facilities and options are excellent. The staff do a brilliant job - we had a bit of an argument with a tour operator when... More

We are staying here at the moment. We have absolutely no complaints. Okay, the hotel is a little rugged around the edges but this only adds to the charm. The staff are all very pleasant, efficient and attentive. Breakfast is excellent, not a huge choice but certainly enough and to a very high standard. Everywhere is clean and well looked... More
