We recently stayed at the Rim for 3 nights and found this to be a lovely little hotel. We arrived at 10am after 24hours of travelling and we were welcomed with cold towels and drinks. Although check in wasn't until 2pm they said they would upgraded our room so we could have a room straight away. Although this was a... More

The Rim is a nice smaller hotel and close to the Chiang Mai University. Staff is great and very helpful and breakfast is included with stay which offered a variety. I enjoyed my stay very much. The value was great too. I would go again.

I always like small boutique hotel, we stay in The Rim with family of 12ppl, really like the style of the hotel, staffs are friendly. But the only problem is it is not close to any 7-11 and only a few restaurant around.

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Rim. The location is excellent close to Wat Prah Singh and the moat. The room is very spacious and well decorated. It I is very clean and by the pool. We love this place very much. The Canal resteraunt is reasonably priced and with very good food and service.

We stayed at The Rim for 5 nights in a poolside double room, with our twin girls, the rooms were large enough for the four of us, the rooms were furnished with lovely Thai furnishings. The architecture of The Rim is traditional Thai Lanna and is absolutely stunning from the street and throughout the complex. The pool area is clean... More

We absolutely loved this place. It was our honeymoon and our first stop was in Chiang Mai. We were treated amazingly by all the friendly staff and the hotel felt like 'home'. It was never busy in the pool, which is small but perfect. It felt so relaxing being there.. we went to Koh Samui to a 'better' higher class... More

The hotel has a perfect location, conveniently located for walking to anywhere in the old city or a short drive away. The staff was extraordinarily helpful in booking trips, massages, whatever we needed. The breakfast was pretty good, better than most places we stayed at. Don't miss out on the drinks poolside, they have elements from your favorite thai dishes... More

Overall I would say its a average budget hotel . Staff are quite friendly and very good location. Breakfast was really bad. Breakfast could not have been worse. Should really work on improving the restaurant overall. Very disappointing .

Spent three nights on my honeymoon in this Resort...we really enjoyed its design, its gently and helpful staff (they are pretty kind and polite with the hosts) and its great location (just 500 m from the main downtown and the famous Saturday night market). The only bad thing is that the WIFI connection in the room was pretty slow and... More
