A qualitative accomodation in the old city. Stylishly furnished in colonial-Lanna style, nice atmosphere, attentive staff, cosy swimming pool and surprisingly peaceful and quiet considering its location. They also have a nice restaurant with great value and delightful dishes. Very recommendable.

We stayed at The Rim Resort for 3 nights but could of stayed longer. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the hotel has lots of character and the rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious. I would absolutely recommend and would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is very cute and the staff are very nice and helpful. the rooms are nice, in a traditional thai design, simple and not overly modern. We were there for work so my main complaint is that the Wi-fi was terrible at best, so if this is important to you, then you might want to reconsider. the restaurant was... More

We recently stayed at the Rim for 3 nights and found this to be a lovely little hotel. We arrived at 10am after 24hours of travelling and we were welcomed with cold towels and drinks. Although check in wasn't until 2pm they said they would upgraded our room so we could have a room straight away. Although this was a... More

The Rim is a nice smaller hotel and close to the Chiang Mai University. Staff is great and very helpful and breakfast is included with stay which offered a variety. I enjoyed my stay very much. The value was great too. I would go again.

I always like small boutique hotel, we stay in The Rim with family of 12ppl, really like the style of the hotel, staffs are friendly. But the only problem is it is not close to any 7-11 and only a few restaurant around.

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Rim. The location is excellent close to Wat Prah Singh and the moat. The room is very spacious and well decorated. It I is very clean and by the pool. We love this place very much. The Canal resteraunt is reasonably priced and with very good food and service.

We stayed at The Rim for 5 nights in a poolside double room, with our twin girls, the rooms were large enough for the four of us, the rooms were furnished with lovely Thai furnishings. The architecture of The Rim is traditional Thai Lanna and is absolutely stunning from the street and throughout the complex. The pool area is clean... More

We absolutely loved this place. It was our honeymoon and our first stop was in Chiang Mai. We were treated amazingly by all the friendly staff and the hotel felt like 'home'. It was never busy in the pool, which is small but perfect. It felt so relaxing being there.. we went to Koh Samui to a 'better' higher class... More

The hotel has a perfect location, conveniently located for walking to anywhere in the old city or a short drive away. The staff was extraordinarily helpful in booking trips, massages, whatever we needed. The breakfast was pretty good, better than most places we stayed at. Don't miss out on the drinks poolside, they have elements from your favorite thai dishes... More
