Good stay marred by unpleasant experience with receptionist. Would've given them 4 stars, but as it is - 3. Especially liked the veranda. No shoes policy is a bit of a hassle but understandable to keep the hotel clean.

The property is in the hip street of Chiang Mai and very close to a famous coffee house and restaurant. The room may not big because there are a lot more space for common area outside the room. Kitchen is useful and there are plenty of utensils, fridge and microwave oven. Free coffee and toast all day. if you want... More

A beautiful and very clean guesthouse with friendly staff. Checking in and out is quick and easy. All amenities provided. The balcony is a wonderful spot for downtime, relaxing and enjoying the street and mountain view. Such a great location! Thank you Baan SayLa!

The check-in is just 3 minutes. Take of your shoes before stepping in and there is hotel shoes for walking inside hotel area. Staff brought me to the room on the second floor where the 2 shared bathrooms are very close to. The room is very nice and clean, and well classic style decorated. I didn't find the mosquito during... More

Best location in Chiang Mai if you want to be around the cool hip parts of town with great food and neighborhood. We loved this place; it was well priced, comfortable and the location is just perfect. Lovely designer shopping surrounds this place, a great breakfast place directly across the road and fabulous little bars in the back streets. It's... More

Baan Say La is a lovely guest house, and for the most part, a real treat to stay in. The décor is classic and charming, the rooms are large with a cute little coffee nook balcony, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The service is quite good and everybody seemed friendly. My girlfriend and I were sick when we stayed... More

Clean comfortable room, decent (shared) shower, good air con, good choice on tv, good location for the area and about a 5-10 min Tuk Tuk ride to the centre, helpful staff. I'd recommend this place but be aware it's not central.

Honestly can't have imagined a better affordable stay for 3days. The rooms are cute and well sized. Hot water and a/c worked well. In the heart of Nimman with tons of food and nightlife options nearby as well as a great massage spot a stone's throw away when you need to escape the heat during the day. Was great to... More

I stayed here for 3 nights and really wanted to like this guesthouse but I had some problems with the AC which made the sleep quality quite poor. The AC was blew cold air directly on the bed and the setting didn't let me adjust the temp. So in the pre monsoon heat, the room was either too hot or... More
